I had some free time at work, so I threw this together. This is my first time messing with VBScript, so, I've probably done some things wrong. Seems to work for me in IE6, 7, and 8 so far.
Please note, this only works in Internet Explorer. Sorry (written in VBScript).
I couldn't find anything online, that would just tell me if my colony setup will have (roughly - routes are not calculated) PG/CPU, and how much (approx) it'll cost. Note that it does not calculate links, so you will need to leave yourself some elbow room.

I mostly wrote it for my own use, but, I figured I'd toss it out there in case someone else was looking for something similar.
* Yes, I know it's written in VBScript. At some point I'll rewrite in something that works in browsers other than IE. * Yes, I know it fails about a bazillion web standards. You're welcome to suggest patches.

Looking good there Daq, now all you need is to use something other then VBScript.
Actually made me use IE again, damnit, i had gone so long without needing it.

Also works in Firefox 3.5 with the IE Tab extension if you don't want to use IE itself.

Would be nice if someone could convert this to JS for those of us that don't run Windows as their main desktop I took a quick look at the code and it shouldn't be to hard to do so from what I saw in the 30 seconds I had to spare while looking at it. -- Finds camping stations from the inside much easier. I've taken liberty to make couple changes: - extractors and lpads inputs renamed to extractor and lpad - <span>number unit</span> changed to <span>number</span> unit
Feel free to copy & paste whatever part of code you want.

Daq's numbers for MW grid came out all wrong when I opened his page... some showed 400mw (there's nothing with 400mw) Launchpad showed 3600mw...?!?
extractor = 800mw basic fab = 800mw advanced fab = 700mw launchpad = 700mw
Madness is taking its toll, please have exact change ready. |

Totally useless. It only count PG/CPU spent on PIN's, not accounting for links. In no way you can put more than 21-22 PIN's to Adv. CC on a Gas Giant. -- Thanks CCP for cu |

And, the method you would use to account for links is....

One way would be to provide a calculation of remaining PG/CPU to km's of links.
Nice tool anyway.
