I've been doing frigate ops, and am tired of running Kestrels or Rifters. I've grown to like the Breacher's look, but haven't seen it used much. So is this a viable frigate? Any suggested fits? I would assume speed tanking/Nano, but any other tips or suggestions?

This used to be my fav frigate when started eve (alongside the rifter) , its a nice missile boat but is very fragile never tried in solo pvp used to run in FW fleets i would asume a heavy speed tank (simlar to the SB's solo fit) but not sure.

Does good damage at a range (almost same damage as Hawk lol), paper thin, no tank can be fitted, only speed tank cheap disposable boat for skirmish gangs

I find that the Breacher is quite viable for small fleet work. With good missile skills and faction/t2 pirahnas it can deal out nice damage from range. Speed tank all the way, no tracking issues w/ missiles, etc.

Edenmain in his Breacher was the flagship of this engagement.

Edited by: Florio on 02/06/2010 10:38:28 mapc, t2 cap power relay. t2 mwd, t2 warp disruptor. t2 250mm light artillery cannon, 3 t2 standard missile launchers. small bay loading accelerator, 2 small capacitor control circuits.
i keep posting this fit and keep banging on about how great it is. eft gives incorrect numbers for it - turn off the 250 howie to see a big jump in volley damage.
cap stable fit so you can kite your opponent all day. t2 disruptor really important in my experience to stop target escaping/protect against breaking orbit. if you're fitting a tank you're doing it wrong, your tank is your cap stable range dictation.
compared with kiting kestrel: similar dps, less volley damage, greater speed (+300m/s), slightly greater agility (breacher agility needs a buff imho), slightly less ehp, much better cap (stable! so you can buzz around the battlefield with mwd on for the whole engagement).
