Don't really like them tbh. I much prefer the "Mad Max in Space" look of the current designs.

hell no!
Minmatar ships should be rusty, full of aerials, pylons, dirt, sort of giant scrapmetals.
You are just making the tempest as a Caldari would do, but brown instead of blue... CCP made the same mistake with the maelstrom and the shiny solar panels (nothing must be shiny on a minmatar ship).
This is how a true minmatar ship should feel:

I agree but kinda dont at the same time. I understand that minmatar ships are supposed to look jacked-up, thrown together, rusty, etc. but I do think they can have a bit of style to them. Take the Hurricane....by far one of the coolest looking ships in the game. The Mael is awesome too! Now I personally HATE the look of the current Typhoon....I think its one of the ugliest ships in the game and would kill for a remodel.

The tempest model looks really nice. The typhoon model looks like a hurricane that swallowed a grenade; I'm not liking it.

the tempest looks like a minmatar ship nor scrapped together in a hurry because of war. it would fit in well with the maelstrom.
maybe have that as the fleet issue.

The tempest looks awesome and the Phoon looks like a bent hurricane.
The only thing is they look almost too solid, Although that can be sorted out when they finalise these designs .Like adding aerials, little lights and ****z.
