Race has a great relevance in a roleplaying sense. It might not have a significant effect on statistical gameplay, and it clearly isn't meant to have. For those of us who do roleplay it is invaluable however.

There should be group missions you can complete with a team of players. The trouble with Eve is there's absolutely no real incentive to meet up with other folk in space except to mine. Also, because you can communicate with anyone anywhere, the sense of place and distance is lost.
It can be quite a lonely game sometimes, even wjen you're in a big corp. I sign in sometimes and notice 8 or 9 corp members in the copr channel, but every single one of them will be engaged ins ome solo persuit. Also, many people in Eve never respond to communication or ignore chat, presumebably becasuse they're surfing the web or doing laundry while they travel or mine.
How about mission that require a minimum number of players to sign-up for? That would be coo, and encourage more in-game interaction.

Ahhh... stupid n00bs. This gme has an extremely rich rp storyline. Join a larger corp. If you just n00b around by yourself and never talk with anyone eve is a pretty dull place. Its a big universe too. All the mega corps or pwrful small corps has some type of story to tell and missions for you. Storys of battles and lists of enemy corps and ppl.
Best example of thsi is m0o. Most of the major merchant corps have battled with them or some other pirate corp. Merchant corps try to sabatoge comptitiors. Sometimes they stage hit and run attacks on their compeitors to disrupte their operations in a specifice region.
One of the more fun mission tpye things is grouping up and coming to the rescue of an improtant corp memeber transporting something extremely valuable that has been traped in a system camped by pirates. Nothing like dieing for your corp. Life is cheap in EVE.

Now may i kindly ask you why the **** you necrod this thread? Game got released after beta and had little to no content and only the selected few would remain to tell the stories of the ol days, because they didn't get bored or give up on devs.
