When some buddies of mine that I had been flying with for about 6 months left DESTINY alliance with me in search of new goals in New Eden, I had no idea of the journey which i was about to embark. We did our time in low-sec (failed badly).. tried our hands at hanging out with a couple of alliance in Fade. While Fade did fail miserably with the alliance we had joined and Project Alice with RA steamrolling the area pre max 1... I made a lot of loose friends that would turn out to be either close allies to WI or in its command structure directly.
After the fail in fade we went back to lowsec, 3 corporations looking for a purpose in EvE. After coming home from work one day, someone in vent said.. "**** it lets start an alliance and go to 0.0" We scoured the forums, sent convo's and generally annoyed the **** out of some people just trying to get 0.0 access. After nearly a month with no luck, we finally struck gold with Wulfnor of Razor alliance and later on Centauris. We moved to Branch with the goals set forth in our mind that we would always protect the North, and stand by the coalition. The rest they say.. is history.
After the loss of Geminate about 1.5 years into WI.. I feared that perhaps the end of our time was over. However, we are still here.. still doing what we do. Will we ever do anything that will achieve "greatness" in this game... maybe not. We never claim to be the best, however we are loyal and determined always.
I want to take this final part of this post to thank of course all members past and present in the WI command structure from HC to directors and of course the pilots who stand behind the WI name. I would also like to thank of course all the alliance of the Northern Coalition.
However, I truthfully want to thank g00dfellas, Solar Fleet, Varangians, Legion of xxDeathxx, IRC, ED, Atlas, Cult of War, and GC. Without your opposition, some of the best and worst times of WI would not exist.
