The purpose of this thread still exists however the usefulness of recording it via posts has become unwieldy.
What we need is a simple web page where, once seeded can be maintained via submissions of killmails and some manual leg work before entry or deletion of rows in the table can occur ( to prevent kids from trashing it / ensuring valid input is added)
Page would need to carry 'character name's, 'ship', 'last seen' and possibly last recorded killmail'
We can gather info on where they are (corporation/alliance ) via API
As for them being active, that can be gathered from last recorded killmail data. If none we leave some note that its probably on an expired account or possibly fake.
Now we can generate a bucket load of data easily
Does this already exist somewhere? ( evekill has to have sooooo much data to mine, we should be able to gather upb100% of the active. Ones)

Im honestly suprised this is still page one. I'm in the last semester of college and working 30 hours a week. Ive finally got close to where I'm getting free time to be able to work on this thing again. I'll turn it into a weekend project this week or next to update it since you guys are showing so much interest too.
The web page would be a great idea. I'm honestly suprised that eve-kill hasn't done it. They are where i get all my km verifications from. the + - system i had been working on before I got slammed was using their killboard to see if they had had a kill in the last six months. + was yes - was no / was inactive for a year or more.
Also one more issue. I dropped into my main corps industrial corp. theres less then ten people so I cant post with cyrus. Hopefully I can edit....

Neither these are Initiative Mercenaries now, they seem to have a titan though as they bridged into Curse at least twice.

According to QEN Q4, there is 472 titans piloted in game and 37 on disabled accounts..
