Then augment that data with info you manually dig up from other killboards not synced with eve-kills / ingame info, and other info people offer up in the thread as usual. The only probem with using 'been on a killmail in the last 12 months' as a marker for activity is that there's some non-combat titans out there that are only used for logistic work, that are never-the-less very active and people might want to know about. But I think you need some definition of activity, and occasional confirmation that pilots are actually still in titans, else the list is slowly but surely losing it's relevance. _ Northern Coalition - Best friends forever <3

As to the relevance you hit it on the head with your posts. In the first you said that the thread is slowly losing relevance. I don't think it ever will. If you do the math on it Fitz's original thread has been going for 737 days with a page view count of just shy of 600k for an average of about 800 reads a day on a thread that isn't even usually that active and spends a lot of time on page 2-4 or so. As long as someone keeps the list up it gives people an epic way to measure how much they hate each other in here and a huge source of pride when they kill one as my links are the only ones CCP doesn't nuke to the killboards. Its pretty much the place that 0.0 people can permanently show off their achievements like the pirates do in the pirate storys thread of C&P. I mean if you look though Fitz's thread with the history of it you even get alliance executors outing their own pilots. Bobby at post 1160 is a decent example. I'll be like fitz and never bump this thread just to beat the 90 day timer, when the rest of the game lets it die out that can be the proof of it losing its relevance.

You've got IT guys stating a lot of their listed titan pilots are totally inactive and/or sold their ships. I pointed out some of the errors in the RAWR list (it's not like I know all our titan pilots so I'm sure there's more mistakes) and there's some missing as I said. I can only assume the rest of the list has the same problems and they won't be solved if you just rely on the increasingly apathetic updates people make in the thread. _ Northern Coalition - Best friends forever <3

Scarily enough it only dates back to 1-7-2010 and im only missing seven titans from it. Ill fart around tonight after my lab class and add them. They can keep their offensive abilities but if they don't get much, much easier to kill, 0.0 will stagnate to death. A frigate can break a cruiser's tank given time, and four frigates can smoke one. A cruiser can break a BS's tank eventually, and four cruisers will smoke one. But a BS won't break a carrier's tank and it will laugh heartily at four BSs. And so on. That's where the break happened, and where gearflation went out of control. CCP should have known better, but they didn't. Carriers should have BS levels of hp, but keep their fighter and triage etc capabilities. Dreads should have at most four times or so what a current BS typically has in HP. Motherships should be the same hp level as these new dreads with their current offensive capability, and same with titans. It would be the best thing for the game. But CCP would never do it.

I agree with you that the gap between Battleship and Capital is a major one, bought I've always thought a better idea would be to create a post-battleship sized ship for dealing with this issue rather than a huge nerf. However, Titans and Motherships need to be nerfed. Cap fleets are a bit too invulnerable, save against either EXTREMELY large Battleship gangs or another capital fleet.
