Over the coming few weeks we're hoping to roll out a couple of changes to the repair tool that, hopefully, you've all had a good experience with.
First off we're introducing a more efficient download mechanism. We have already changed the tool to allow for downloading partial files, based on the HTTP range method for those technically inclined types, but now we're increasing the efficiency of the file update mechanism further.
Furthermore, we're hoping to roll out a prototype releaes of the repair tool for Mac. It is just a prototype version, but we're big advocates of getting things into your hands as soon as possible.
We'll update this space with more information when we know a definitive date for the releases, but until then, if you've any questions I'll be happy to answer them, where possible, or to defer to someone who knows, if I don't

Originally by: Nareg Maxence I have never had any issues updating my TQ install, so haven't used it on that. I have tried using the repair tool a couple of times on my sisi install when I was having issues updating, but it never helps, and I always end up copying over my TQ install and updating that. I must obviously be doing it wrong.
I'd love to know more about your problems with the Repair Tool. What would be even better would be if you could get me the logs from the Repair Tool; they should be located in your EVE install and called repairlog.txt, I believe.

Originally by: Commando Jaxx I have many a problem with the repair tool and test server patchs, now its been over a month i haven't been able to get onto the test server because the patchs wont install and the repair tool doesn't do anything.
Have you filed a bug report about it, per chance? I couldn't find one linked to the account you've posted with. failing that, the repair log file would be a good start, it should be located in the folder your an the tool from.
