I try to pvp most of the time when I am playing since for me it is one of the more enjoyable parts of the game. Try to avoid blob warfare like the plaque

I dont do as much in Eve as I use to. I am now the classic bitter old vet. I watch the tourny because it is enjoyable and I look forward to it every yr. Most of the time I would rather sit down and watch the matches then try to play on weekends when the server is mostly a cluster frack.
I have done much in Eve - mined (me/shudders), lived in 0.0 for yrs as a part of major alliance (from the founding of QDF/FIX to their eventual explusion from Q space), did time doing small gang raiding into 0.0, spend walkabout time doing manufacturing and missioning in empire.
Watching the tournaments reminds me more of how much fun small gang pvp is compared to the blob fest that dominates most of Eve pvp nowadays.

Not to side track the thread but yeah same here.!.!.!.. I figured once I got to 100 mil sp Jove might finally open up and I would be willing to toss away all my SP to become Jove. At 120 mil + and still hoping.

They use to allow this and quite a few matches were 15 mins of both teams not killing each other. Much better with spider tanking gone IMO.
