Good thing this guy is leaving corp in a couple hours. /o
CEO Smackdown!
I haven't played much EVE, but coming from other MMOs and being able to see good and bad guild leaders, I can safely say that Draco falls under the "Incredibly freakin' bad and lawlworthy" list of "bad" leaders. That makes two in that category (the other is from a pathetic WoW guild I was in that couldn't PvP or PvE).
Not much of a smackdown.
Good luck getting into any quality corps in your eve career. I'm sure youÆre the level headed quality guy that all corps in eve will fall over themselves to recruit. You might as well sell your characters and let someone else put them on the right track. : )

The last thing FW needs is more blobs and cap drops. I'd rather see FW corps made immune to wardecs, as exploitable as that may be.

They are immune ... join the NPC faction warfare corp
Joining a player corp is a privilege... not a free pass ... and with that comes pro's and cons ... being able to be war dec'd is one of them ...
So .. the question is ... can you man up

Please don't patronize me. I have no issues with being wardecced myself. It's just that I'd rather seek alternative solutions because while any kind of dec immunity is clearly a bad idea allowing alliances into FW is an even worse one.

FW alliances makes sense.
It would give pilots more control over who they fly with - the generic FW corps are riddled with spies.
If you beefed up system Occupancy, FW alliances could then exercise control over planet colonization and planting new POS - making it more meaningful than just orbiting plex buttons while being chased by piwats.
Make Occupancy even more powerful by allowing FW alliances some of the cool gizmos offered in 0.0, like Jump Bridges. Add that stuff into the mix and then you have something worth fighting about.

You can control which alliances can join FW by using the same faction standings criteria currently used to control which corps can join FW.
Still allow individual corps to join. Keep the generic FW corps for individuals who don't want to join corps. Keep the Militia Channel, too.
Make FW about more than flying around plex buttons. Beef up the benefits of system Occupancy and allow FW alliances. And suddenly things will get interesting!

I agree only partially.
As a former game developer I understand that there has to be sort of feature zones and also your proposal might cause serious disballance. So I would not recommnend too big strengtening of the occupation.
I think to allow alliances and add a rulle, that for entering militia you cannot own any sov is the simplest way and allows you to handle 80% of current problems.

So, with all your "QQ FW IS BORKED FIER TEH PPLZ IN CHARGE OF IT QQ" threads, how many people do you think CCP has actually fired because of it?
I'm going with 0.

Make it so only corps enlisted in FW can form an alliance with each other. The existing alliances would have to disband in order to reform under FW, so that'll keep them out. -- Nah, that's just my Asperger's kickin' in.

gents I think the only issue is called sov. if you disallow sov for fw alliance the only people who will come to fw will be pvp oriented individuals or small pie alliances who live in low sec. which is good because they will make fights more intensive. big powerblocks wont be interested in case they would need to drop they sov .... btw i am going to create official crossmilitia petition for this change.

This...I think it would be a great idea, some intel channel in my overwiew will disepear.I mean you have a certain people and corp's you team up with and those you will create an alliance with.

oh please. if they wanted to drop you, they would do it without being in the militia. most ppl don't care about sec status. if you live in 0.0, you care even less

Alliances corps have already been coming and going for years - Both individual corps who left their alliance and joined a militia and also large parts of existing alliances setting up a base in the low-sec systems and then pirating - it's what makes FW all the more fun and challenging.
Oh and bump. -----------------------------

I would seriously think carefully before you allow such entities to join FW.
They can already do that to people in FW, nothing is stopping them.
