Warning to fellow players who pay for multiple accounts via credit card. Today my card was blocked by the bank since firing multiple authorizations in the short amount of time with same description and same sum fires up all anti-fraud software alarms.
I had to spend two hours to get the bank office and back and get the card unblocked.
Good job CCP. Customer satisfaction is your F-word priority, right ?

Typical, another hysterical poster. They:
1. Assume everyone has this problem.
2. Its somehow CCPs fault.
The problem described Is dependent on your issuer. I have 4 subscriptions that are all debited on the same day and I have never had an issue.

Since CCP did not implement 3d secure or similar mechanism, problematic transactions are acquirer's problem, and acquirer's problem is really a merchant's problem when it comes to chargebacks. Funniest thing that if they implement such authentication, you'll have to type in stuff every month. No very user-friendly ^^

Standard security feature when buying stuff on the internet, it has nothing to do with the bank or CCP, tryed that two times now. First time it happend in the weekend, which kinda sucked. Unless CCP would allow the payment of multible accounts in the same transaction this can happen, when as you choose to pay all your accounts at the same time.

I am sorry to hear that your banks security is causing problems with your accounts. I would suggest that you submit a petition to our Billing department and they should be able to advise you if anything can be done to prevent this.

CCP could consolidate the billing and make money in the process (well lose less on fees). Then when the bank blocks your card without even calling you the **** poor customer service is on their side, not CCP for once.

Plus velocity checks wont be triggered so this issue will go away.

If I was stuck in the middle of nowhere I don't think my first thought would be to post and rage on some internet forums about it.
Secondly, that's why I carry emergency cash on me. This just further confirms my suspicions that you are just a whiny kid throwing a temper tantrum.

You might wanna talk to your bank then. Also, being an employee in a bank myself, I have a hard time seeing how that would set off any alarms (unless you have like 15-20 acconts?) Either you have a crappy bank, or you are not paying your bills, meaning the bank have to keep an eye on your account to make sure you dont spend money you dont have.

Here's a thought:
Call your bank and tell them this is a new set of recurring charges and not to worry about it. I did it with mine and it works fine. I have no issues with my accounts getting billed, even though two of them are billed on the same day.
My point is, there are things YOU could do to make this situation go away, so stop blaming CCP that which you have ultimate control over.

yes its a problem, but its not CCP's problem. you set up the accounts on the same day, you didnt notify your bank that there will be multiple recurring charges on that card to the same company. this is 100% not CCP's fault.
a lump sum might work, but in the end i can see problems like when you let an account expire you still get charged for it. CCP dont change anything about your billing it works just fine. people are getting lazy

One time my card got rejected because my bank noticed "strange internet charges from iceland".
I called and had them authorize it, and told them that it would happen on a set schedule and that it's ok.
Since then, no problems.

10/10 for trolling while also making people with legitimate problems with CCP's management look bad, which not only means you trolled everyone, but you also created more animosity to people who want the game improved. well played.
also, I have payed by GTC in the past until getting enough ISK for a plex. so no CC problem for me, as I hate them with a passion anyway.
