128th ABC123 Victorious Bastards	Posted - 2010.06.10 09:40:00 - [1] Ive recently noticed something interesting. There's some guys flying around in empire with -10 sec status, in thrashers. Too fast to be caught by the police they are free to travel around. The thing they do however is the interesting part. Id assume out of pure boredome or simply to get some hatemail they suicide podkill people in empire. They do not lose any sec status as they are allready at -10, the isk loss from the arty fit thrasher is offcourse neglectable. Would or could this be deemed an exploit? Beyond the simple griefing aspect of it, theres not much to be gained by the suicide ganker... Ps. use a shuttle when you go to Jita on autopilot.

Like a noob (I'd been away for almost a year and forgot) I fired at him after multiple warnings. Lots of losses in ISK and several million spent on replacing my ship later, I learnt to check. I hope that no other new (or long time returning players) make this mistake without thinking.

(a.k.a. "corpse camping" that can occur in other MMOs which are not to be named) The gray area is in how CCP defines "repeatedly"... is that 3 times a day? 10? 1. Sec status -10: police try to kill them and they are fair game to other players. 2. They lose their ship, so Concord still works fine. This is actually less of an "exploit" than gankers who get insurance for their concorded ships. Basically are you saying that preying upon another player's idiocy is griefing? Lesson Learned: don't fly around in a pod unless you don't mind getting podded!
