Aegis Militia is one of the oldest alliances in all of eve and a staunch defender of Providence. The Aegis Militia is an alliance based in Providence and lower Domain. The alliance is loyal to the Amarr Empire, with their mission to protect the people of the Amarrian Empire in ways that it seems fit. Aegis Militia recently changed its doctrine. Offered holder membership in CVA's Providence campaign and has begun to forge new homes for those disenfranchised in the war with are traditional enemies Ushra'Khan [UNITY], Tau Ceti Federation, Against All Authorities. Military: Following Heinlein's Principles of Mobile Infantry. Everyone fights, everyone works. Command structure is based on experience not necessarily age or seniority in the Militia. Everyone has the opportunity to lead fleets (in fact newer pilots are encouraged to try FC'ing.) All support is offered for training purposes of anyone in alliance who wants it. Operations are conducted regularly in forms of patrols with exercises in certain classes of ships and tactics in nullsec. All exercises are conducted using Eve-Voice, and Team Speak. It is a requirement for pilots to be online to listen to orders. FCÆs and scouts need mics for relying Intel. Order Of Battle: Aegis Militia can deploy conventional assets, and has support for and can deploy capital fleets for major operations. History: Five years. From its inception on this date April 9th 05 we were borne and soon found ourselves in strife and blood. From the first corp heist of GHSC to fighting for bleaklands pushing blood raiders out. Exposing the traitor Myadra, the hidden wars in shadows. Civil strife against the depradations of Revan and the wars against the Star Fraction we have been reborn with our fiefdom granted by the CVA. Five years. From our darkest times to now, a new phoenix emerging from our new home in the Providence where we have and will continue to rebuild our foundations and our strength. Our sword and shield will now be leant to the aid in defence of Providence and in the continued expansion for the Amarr Empire. How do I apply? The first step in applying is to visit our forums at http://aegismilitia.freeforums.org and join our public channel in-game, conveniently named "Aegis-[Public". You should post on the recruitment forum about your interest in joining, and try to contact Agatho Daimon in our public channel for an interview. Amarr Victor! Please note: Former members of hostile corps or alliances are often not considered. 100% dedication is the only level of dedication accepted in AM. Period. Those with "pirate tendencies" are encouraged not to apply. The Aegis Militia has a solid group of experienced leaders; we offer a good mix of green pilots and veteran captains. This is not a normal Alliance, this is a home. You may join channel "Aegis-[Public" in-game to speak with AM members. Convo any of the listed contacts at any time to setup an interview.
