Hey I was wondering, do planets regenerate resources over time, or do they have a finite amount of resources? To put the question a different way, 1 year from now what do you think the odds are that it be hard to find planets that haven't been totally depleted?

Yeah, planets have finite resources and in a few months every POS in EVE will run out of fuel and civilization will collapse  .

Do you know if it's documented anywhere? I've been searching and I haven't been able to find any facts around resource regeneration. What is known about it?

No one knows for sure yet, and there was been quite a bit of speculation about this, but you don't need to worry that the planets will ever run out of resources.
There is a maximum number of people that can colonize a planet but the number is unknown, but way up there.

Thank you Qoi! This is exactly what I was looking for. CCP could prevent the spread of "wrong information" from floating around if they would include this very important information in the official PI documentation.
