I was doing a simple agent job and left my home system to go to the next system. When I tried to return it was 1 million jumps away and noted as unreachable on the map. Is this something that happens a lot in Eve? I have been paying for a month and noticed some areas go like this but it is the start system for Gallente citizens, so what gives?
I am especially upset as it has all of my ships, equipemtn and new skills to learn stored there! "should my signature go here?" |

the Auto Pilot is just having trouble plotting a course. it probably has a conflict in it's instructions as to which route to take, possibly two equally good routes, neither of which fit the criteria more than the other.
just manually set waypoints up to your destination, and set it not to stop at waypoints, and you'll get there.
no worries. :)

Thanks but when I add it as a waypoint it states it is unreachable, so I do not think it is just the autopilot. I have tried making a route via other systems but that does not work either.
Anyone else got any suggestions? "should my signature go here?" |

You sure you didn't just type a similar name and have the people and places menu find you a system in Jove space?

Thanks Joshua, that worked, although at first I could only approach the stargate I could not jump, eventually it let me jump and I'm home again.
Sorry BobGengisKhan but I do know how to pilot one of these babies a bit and it definitely shut the system on me after I left!
Cheers for helping everyone. "should my signature go here?" |

Do you have avoid podkills on. Apperantly Yulai shows quite a few pod slaughtered today so that might be it. __________ Capacitor research |

SE is at war with Celestial Apocalypse, because we're "pirates" for defending our home region.

Ah, that's an annoying one.
If you open up the map and go to the settings window, you can choose the autopilot tab to change its settings.
It has 'avoid pod killing zones' on by default and somehow, if there has been a pod killed in your destination system, it won't plot a course to that system. Just turn off the avoid poid killing zones thing and you'll be ready to go. ------------------------------------------------------- "Do you really think that's air you're breathing?" |
