Mirelath	Posted - 2004.12.12 18:24:00 - [1] Ok, I'm trying to work this out, but I cant understand it, so I'm asking for some help. Two characters, me and my alt. Me: Astrogeology 5, Mining barge 3, Mining 4 Alt: Astrogeology 5, Mining barge 3, Mining 5 Why do I mine better than my alt? I pull in 13 more units of ore per 3 minutes than my alt does - but as far as I can see, my alt has better mining skills than me. Is there something else influencing this? Background info: Both ships are Retriever's (med. mining barge) using 2 strip miners.
