Just because in this case some would approve of that favoritism doesn't mean it's good even for them. Others would certainly protest and some would get a ruptured cerebral aneurysm from seeing the Mittani put on the market. We're all simply better off if CCP never takes a single step down that road.

That and it would make sense...since a newbie flying the mining frigate is most likely going to be chewing on Veldspar on their first mining trip. I disagree. Chribba has created immeasurable value to thousands of capsuleers for nearly a decade. It would be a great disservice if CCP does not honor his contribution. Naming a mining frigate after his name is the least CCP could do. After all, even a no-name like me got a site named after me. Chribba deserves better.
