CCP if you're reading this investigate the online store at Yesasia, they have free shipping to most civilized parts of the world. I think my orders from them came by DHL but I'm not sure. Whatever it was it was fast, reliable and ships to whole Europe for free.

Really do wish the delivery wasn't so high, it's put me off ordering anything.
I do fair bit of online shopping from various online stores delivering from all all over the world (to the UK) and have never known charges quite like it for standard delivery, especially of small single items. -----------------------------

Originally by: CCP Rhayger We are adding additional shipping options, including USPS which we should have available very soon.
We've looked into DHL and a number of others and in most cases have gotten even higher quotes. We've spent considerable time trying to look for additional warehousing/shipping/partners options out of europe and have not found anything workable yet. Either we don't do enough volume for some potential partners or logistics and handling costs end up exceeding any savings we could get you. We're still looking for better options there.
Just a stupid question in between in that regards.
Since a large chunk of the EVE playerbase is located in Europe and Russia, why not also have an office for EVE store goodies in Europe mainland? That should be able to cut off a chunk of shippingfees.
Or is it that it's mandatory to ship from the US?

if you want a t-shirt, buy it from jinx. they ship for 10$ and the shirts have discounts al the time. bought some at 12$ + 10$ shipping, and it came to europe in three weeks.
what I wish is for CCP to start selling those shirts (not t-shirts).

Almost everything you can buy from e-commerce sites like Amazon goes to Iceland by air mail. That should not cost 40-50$ in normal postal fees. And we are talking about 2x badges here that would fit into an envelope.
edit; Sorry didn't notice that "from" there. Like Blane said the EVE store gets its items shipped from Atlanta AFAIK and the manufacturing certainly doesn't take place in Iceland
Yeah I knew it didn't come from Iceland. I bought something ONCE from the Eve store. Never again...

Yup the store is located in Atlanta. We fly stuff in to Iceland for Fanfest but normally when you buy from the store it is shipped from Atlanta, GA.
As far as shipping goes, those prices are set by FedEx as they are who we ship through.
I live in Atlanta...would it be possible to go there and buy it myself? Probably not but just curious :P
