Is there a way to use EFT to look at hypothetical results with different skill sets (other than "all V's"?
So, let's say I just want to add one more electronics onto a character to see how fittings would work out, or put one more gunnery onto a character to see how much dps he could output, would that work?
I can't find a way to do that right now. :(

Two ways.
1) At the top, View > Character Editor. From there, you can change the skill levels of any of your EFT characters.
2) Right click on a module in your fit, or the white space below the modules, and go to the Change Affecting Skill submenu, and you can change skills that actually have an effect on that specific module or ship.
That's what you wanted, right?

àalso, once you create a new character, that one is saved as a text file in the EFT\Characters directory and you can open it up in note pad and edit it that way.
This lets you do mass-changes fairly easily ù for instance, I have an "all IV"-character that I based on my (then)current skills, which I use as my "what performance will I get once I finish trainingà" point of comparison. That one was very simply done by making a copy of my character file and then Find/Replace all instances of "1", "2" and "3" with "4". ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

Not sure if this is the right place for a feature request (probably not), but I'd like an option "My character after finishing this EVEMon skillplan". Maybe there is some easy way to do this?
