Approximately a year ago I posted this thread about a frequent visitor to Decon named Kel Vaher. At that time we had killed him 174 times and I thought it was an interesting phenomenon to post about.
Since that time, Kel's losses have continued to mount. As of today, Kel Vaher's losses stand at 338, including 145 lost Velators and 149 poddings.
However, in this time, we have gotten him to open up to us very briefly exactly twice. The first regarding the last time I posted about him, the second not long ago regarding an odd conversation in local about sending genitalia through the mail....
The time has come for us to open up a dialog with Kel Vaher, and thus I wish to speak to Kel Vaher here directly as I believe he reads the forums:
Hi Kel,
Why we gotta keep playing these games?
I know you want to hang out in Decon, and we like having you there.
Im hoping if we send a little love your way you will become our friend.
Hear me out Kel,
If you open up to us, talk to us in local, tell us your dreams, your desires, your longings, your loves, we will provide you with blue status.
I wait for your reply Kel,

I am so excited about this. Crushah you're just like a young David Attenborough, I can actually imagine him commentating a video of you following Kel around.

Reading that other thread i see Kel Vaher has 3 kills.
Why did he choose them?
What motives are behind his actions?
Which dark mastermind is on the other side of the computer screen?
And will J.R. survive?
All this and more will be answered in the next episode of "Decon".

Maybe he is somone's <900k sp alt. If so he could literally just run in, noob ship after noob ship, free clone after free clone, and not have it cost him a dime. Just die over and over hoping to get a comedy km or something.

Over a year since his first death in Decon, and he is still there dying multiple times a day. There is some great mystery that needs to be solved here; and it is not griefing, it is research.

I don't see how it can be griefing, as Kel seems to be actively pursuing this abuse. Maybe its some really sick form of sadomasochism that he gets off on. Or maybe he is a member of some modern Flagellants religious group?

He's using a noob alt to distract you guys. While you're ganking him, he moves something valuable nearby on his main, knowing you're out of position to do anything about it.

I dont think this is the case. We have never seen a pattern of seeing Kel Vaher in system, followed by another toon showing up either in Decon or Sharuveil, and its not as if we drop whatever we are doing to go chasing after him he always just kinda shows up. Also, we have killed him in a number of places, the gate, belts, outside station.
Kel, my mailbox is still empty. Why wont you contact me? Lets put all of this to rest.

Just guessing, but I still think it's a combination of distraction and intel. He knows exactly who's doing what to him, in what, and where they are whenever he's engaged. That's very valuable information in the right context.
Or maybe he's just someone's kid playing internet spaceships on his dad's account.
