Is there a config file I can set it or something?
I was running eve in a virtual desktop at 1440x900. I had my computer hooked up to a non widescreen monitor so I set the virtual desktop to the new resolution but I forgot to change the EVE client itself. It somehow defaulted to some ridiculously small resolution like 200x300 or something. It's completely unusable obviously, but now I can't get to the settings menu to set my resolution since when I click settings the window is actually bigger than my resolution and there doesn't appear to be any way to grab it and move it since I can't reach the title bar.
How can I fix my resolution? My skills queue expires in a couple hours lol

Try clearing the cache and settings?
Try running it in fullscreen outside a Virtual Desktop?

Fullscreen outside of a virtual desktop is one of the first things I thought of but it didn't work for some reason, it just kept the tiny resolution and crammed it in a corner.
I managed to fix it by hitting alt+enter to force it into windowed mode inside my virtual desktop. Apparently it stores the windowed resolution separately so I was able to go in and set it after that.

This happens to me every so often, and what I do is is press escape, then youll see the graphic config screen not fitting in the window. Once you do this, you can mouse over the pulldown for resolution, and pull it down to whatever you want. Then press tab 3 times and press enter. (the apply button is 3 tabs down from the resolution pulldown). This should make your eve come back to full size. |
