I am currently remapped Int and Memory. I have an interest in Scorpions, Rooks, Falcons and Kitsunes however I don't want to spend a ton of time on ships I will not be flying consistently. Which EW skills are a must to take to 5? Which can I basically ignore? Thanks.

Outside of the ship skills you need jamming range and jamming strengh skills to 4 or 5 if you have the patience. The ewar skill itself doesn't need to go past 4 unless you spend a lot of time in sml ships that have cap issues.

I took them all to 4, but if you are going to fly super caps you need to get EW to 5 which I didn't have in my skill plan.

The bonuses those ships provide to ECM are more powerful than the bonuses you get from taking the skills to level V. For example, using EFT, compare the jamming strength of a Falcon at Recon IV and Signal Dispersion V versus a Falcon at Recon V and Signal Dispersion IV. So, IMO, getting Recon V, BS V, etc. is much more important than the ECM skills to level V.

Who knew... having a 30% bonus to ECM strength is better than having a 5% bonus to ECM strength, THX!
seriously though, why not train Signal Dispersion AND Recon to 5? 175% ECM bonus before modules and rigs, kthxbye
