Mind if I ask how they will be fixed? Will I still get requests to jump 50 systems from Fountain to Curse?

I had an odd bug with this very mission today. My time to finally accept it was running out, so i made my way to agent's station, and opened convo with him. The agent's response was to go away because he's busy, at which point i could no longer read the mission description in the journal, and the agent convo window wouldn't open again. So i relogged... and after logging back, agent was no longer listed as present in the station, and the mission offer was gone from my journal.
If he didn't want to give that mission because he misplaced the reward implant or something, he could've just said so... sneaking out through station window and erasing all traces of one's existence seems kind of... overdoing it. o,O;;

Along with the standing increase, I hope that the important missions are only refered to agents within the corp you are working for currently. It does me no good to get standing in a corp that I never work for (last important sent me to Caldari provisions vs my standard Caldari navy corp). Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

I think important storyline missions are only ment to give faction gain, so it dosn't matter which corp they are in as long as it's in the same faction.

I had this too. After travelling many jumps my agents legged it out from the station, and denied even knowing me.
I petitioned CCP, and got the reply (well along these lines) "err, yeah. We know that story misisons are borked... woops. sorry. we'll fix it soon, honest."
Gee thnx. Why not warn me before! anyway..will tomorrows patch fix these problems?

I recall something from another thread saying that this is a different bug. The problem here is that even though the timer says you have 1 week to accept, it's actually timing out much faster (probably after only 24 hours). So, if you wait too long, the mission is no longer available, even though your journal still says it is. Maybe you noticed, but right after the agent told you to go away, the mission offer disappeared from your journal. It had timed out, but the journal didn't update until you talked to the agent and accepted the mission, which was no longer available.

I had one of these storyline missions. I finished the mission I was on and accepted it and easily completed it. Then flew to the station where the agent was. Told him I was done and he replied "Go away I am busy" .. I redocked hoping this would help ... agent was no longer there or in my ppl places. I did get like 16K isk for it ... big deal ... but no faction increase I could see.
It appeared to just be mostly a waste of time .....

Ahh, that would definitely make sense; i didn't get to the mission until it was ~3 hours from timeout since well, it said i had lot of time for it ;s

This seems to be another bug - just check your CharSheet and there the standing tab - the corp your StoryLine-Agent is working for has gained the standing - and not the corp you are working for. Happened to me three times now.
Petition it. ________________________________________________ Balancing doesn't mean to equal every fitting, it means giving everybody the chance to encounter a fitting.
