You don't have the capacity to send high def to everyone don't offer it and get ours hopes up only to have it lag sputter and die while we're watching.

Watching the video feed pause all the time is really annoying. Know it's not my end due to the audio continuing :(. ---

Audio takes up a minuscule amount of bandwidth compared to video so audio can go on when video buffers. Running fine here though.

i was streaming the high def feed till the break now im trying to stream the lowest def and still i only get about 5 secs of feed then a nice buffer pause for 10 secs.
my download speed just now is still over 300Kbps so defo not a problem on my end.
crank up the bandwidth of your stream ccp :) The only way to get smarter is by playing a smarter opponent. |

Cheers dude.
Also i have just considered that i have streamed more than 6Gb and i know some ISP's including mine throttle connections that do that at peak times but Virgin's "peak" is 15:00-20:00 so that should not be the current issue. Other than that after Virgin worked out i will make their customer services life a misery with constant questions, pointing out faults and generally berating them my connection is superb.

Can you guys try one more thing for me - go to a command prompt (Start -> Run, type "cmd" and press enter). netstat -an | find "1935"
You will get a line similar to this: TCP 10.1.1.1:54002 209.84.0.125:1935 ESTABLISHED
What we need is the second IP in that list (eg. 209.84.0.125). It will help us narrow this down ;)

If I'm reading you right - then you are coming in via Level3 and that should be the case. Level 3 are the CDN we are streaming through (ie. the servers that you download the stream from are Level3 edge servers). -- |

i have been watching all the matches during whole 3 weeks in high definition and i am yet to see ANY lag from broadcasts. i live in easter europe, so there is distance to cover too, so if you are lagging, its your own darn problem, stop blaming peopel who are not responsible.

I had no issues with the stream. Watched high def with a few clients running to boot the whole time and not one issue. Unlike past events where I have run into streaming issues this one performed without a hitch. Also would like to add great job to CCP and the commentators for putting on a great show this year. ------------------------------------------------- - Sig

As is often the case, the problem was not at CCP's end... nor at your end... but somewhere in between.
Good job on being able to re-route and establish a steady stream to most.
