Yeah, no kidding. Initial investment of a billion + isk made, why the hell not get some of that investment back, and jumpstart another group in alliance operations for cheaper than usual.
Although letting it is certainly more poignant for storyline purposes. Incredible that we've lost the first 'paid for' alliance so quickly after the alliance system was implemented.

Originally by: Scerenity Good luck in the future. It's never nice to see any alliance fall.
Why do you generally proclaim that's it's not nice? I am quite sure some people are amused, others thrilled about downfall of alliances, granted because of their own motives. I'm quite sure you'd be enjoying the downfall of some alliance, nullifying your above argument in the process. But enough about that..
I for one am not happy nor sad, as this was expected and was coming for some time. Imo, and as stated by members in the FU, it was created with bad foundations. I wish the liberated corporations good luck in their future endevours. Take this opportunity to see the game from a fresh perspective and a lesson learnt.

Well, maybe the powers that be don't want to refund anything, heh. Although if you'd like to force them to refund some cash, I'll surely take it back, no problem sir.
