Yesterday Angel Wing launched a new wonderfully refreshing new beverage. Dubbed 'Amarr Victor' this great-tasting fermented wheat-based drink, is exlusively targeted at the capsuleer market and is unlike any other drink in taste and presentation.
More information can be found here: AmarrVictor.com
Amarr Victor is a luxury product, the production process and ingredients conform to the highest possible standards. The new regulations allowing capsuleers to build planetary installations allowed Angel Wing the control over the end product it desired. Amarr Victor is a great gift to a respected superior, a loved one or can be used to highlight a celebration after a successful fleet battle.
Amarr Victor can be ordered from Angel Wing and registered dealers and will be launching at a price of 1 million isk per container with loyalists receiving a 10% discount. ____

I can assure you that the Amarr Victor pre-production was going on well before you made your plans public, possibly even before you even conceived of your plans.
I can understand you feel threatened by our product, seeing as Amarr Victor compares favorably to your somewhat dour and odd-sounding beverage. However, I believe your beverage is targeted at a different demographic, and as such direct competition should be limited.
Official response here: Ushra'Khan offers 100 million for shipment of Amarr Victor
If you feel that the competition from Amarr Victor is unfair in any way, I believe there is a civil court in Providence with a low workload and probably quite willing to handle a case of this kind.

The product seems like it has potential, but you really need to step up your marketing stratagy. You have to make the consumer want the product, not drink it as a matter of religious duty.
Still, I think it could prove popular among my Khanid partners. Put me down for a case and I'll have some of my workers make the arrangements.
Good luck!
Thank you for your best wishes. While marketing strategy is initially focused on our core customer demographic and starting out in Domain and the broader Empire regions, I can assure you that plans have been made to extend marketing efforts to other areas and demographics. ____

Originally by: Black Necris You can try to cash all the publicity you want about this, but all the costumers know you are spreading lies for saying Ushra Khan is offering a reward. Its me offering it, me alone.
Mr. Necris, you are a member of Ushra'Khan. Anything you say and do will reflect on them. I don't care from what wallet the 100 million for a shipment of Amarr Victor is paid, either the Ushra'Khan supports your action or it opposes it.
I'm quite sure that if you suddenly started keeping slaves the headlines would also read "Ushra'Khan keeping slaves". Perhaps my response to your rash action has made you aware again that you are part of a larger collective and as such should take care with your statements.
I would advice you to look at this as a challenge and have some confidence in your own product instead of going into full-blown panic mode once a competitor appears. ____

I'm amazed at the number of people claiming to have tasted Amarr Victor while my records clearly show they haven't. Amarr Victor is not freely available on the open market, each delivery must be ordered separately from registered dealers (currently only Angel Wing) and all bottles and packaging is marked with a unique code.
It seems likely that imitators have already made cheap imitations of the original product and have sold these to gullible Matari. Either that or many of you are lying.
If you want to judge the content, composition, taste and flavor of the product, I suggest you actually order and *try* some.
This is also why the order form ask the visitor to identify him or herself. Detailed records of each sale are kept so that everyone can verify the authenticity of the product they are drinking, which is a must in a luxury market. ____

Originally by: Anabella Rella Why not put your money where your mouth is Merdaneth? Why not arrange for a neutral third party research firm to conduct a series of blind taste tests between your product and Eau de Nichup? I believe that back in the old days of the soft drink wars that was done frequently.
You say your product is superior, now let's see what the general population says.
I'm perfectly happy to organize something like a tasting contest, since I am extremely confident in the quality of the product. In fact, my marketing plans include a tasting contest at some point.
A 'neutral third party research firm' as you propose honestly sounds rather boring and not very fitting for Amarr Victor. I much prefer you and other opponents do the blind taste test yourselves. I'll let you be the judge of the superior quality of Amarr Victor.
I dare you to put your money where your mouth is. I dare to put your lips to a fine chilled glass of strong and flavorfull Amarr Victor, swallow its golden glory and know the bliss it brings to those who appreciate such drinks. ____

Originally by: Ontaku Oroa In this spirit of exploration and mild hedonism I chose to sample the Amarr Victor and have indeed ordered a few crates of it which arrived just yesterday as I was preparing to launch with one of my battlecruisers in the search of Amarrian targets to destroy. Ah the sweet irony, I thought, to drink the golden brew while ripping appart the golden hulls.
Mr. Oroa, are you a liar? My records clearly show you have not ordered any crates of Amarr Victor and thus cannot have sampled it.
I know it is capsuleer tradition to have opinions about ships one has never flown, but to judge the taste of a product one has never actually consumed seems highly odd to me. Even from a Matari terrorist.
All this tasting efforts without actually drinking Amarr Victor and the (obviously) biased and imagined tasting results only indicate to me that the Ushra'Khan pilots feel highly threatened by the introductions of my product.

Originally by: Ontaku Oroa Mr. Merdaneth, I am not a liar. I however, being a man of some affluence, do not debase myself with actual shopping on the GalNet. I merely instruct one of my aides to what I require and it is they who acquire the means of fulfilling my needs. To which end I have agents scattered across the cluster and it was one of them who made the actual purchase.
Mr. Oroa. Let me be clear. Each shipment of Amarr Victor is personalized. Each bottle has an unique serial number linked to the customer. Each shipment is only produced after the customer ordered it, there are no stockpiles. I am the sole distributor at this time.
In fact, there have been a few people here claiming to have tasted it before the first regular shipment was even sent to a customer. If you don't want to appear a liar, I would suggest giving me the serial number inscribed in the bottle(s) you received so the authenticity of your product can be verified.
Amarr Victor is not Quafe. It is not widely and anonymously distributed. It is a luxury product.
It is likely you have been the target of someone imitating the product in an attempt to give Amarr Victor a bad name. At this time primarily Ushra'Khan pilots seem to have suffered from drinking this imitation. It would seem likely that the imitator resides amongst your own people and is likely someone with a strong motive to do so. ____

Originally by: Ontaku Oroa Naturally Mr. Merdaneth, I cannot release the information you are looking for as that would create a link between me and one of my agents, which would in turn make them useless to me, a fact I am sure you are aware of. Considerable money and time have been spent on their training and I would hate to discard them so frivolously.
Mr. Oroa, you previously said that you did not order it yourself because you did not want to "debase myself with actual shopping on the GalNet" and that you "instructed one of your aides". Only capsuleers can directly order Amarr Victor. Are you now telling me that you made another capsuleer is debase himself or herself for you and that your aide is actually a capsuleer covert agent? An agent who's name I have on my list of orders?
Originally by: Ontaku Oroa I can, however, send an unopened bottle back to you for analysis if you like. Then you may assure yourself that the shipment I received is, indeed, original.
Serial numbers do not identify people mr. Oroa. The only one that can identify your agent would be me. If you really wanted to hide the agent's identity from me, why offer to send me a bottle with the serial number you don't want to post on it?
Your story just doesn't make any sense and is likely partially or wholly a lie.

So. Do you want me to send you the bottle for inspection or not? You only need to name the location where you need the shipment delivered. Orbital stations only please, I do not want to expose my agent too much by having him treading some mudball. Oh, and relatively safe space too, no need to encourage wanton piracy.
All this talk about sending bottles is nonsense. Let us not "debase ourselves" by having to arrange for delivery and pickup of a single bottle when the problem can be solved with you either posting the serial here, or by sending me a mail with the serial if you doubt my security measures. ____

I'm touched by your concern to try and protect me from abuse of my serial numbers by third parties. Please, get a grip, the serial number becoming public poses no risks for you as I explained.
Originally by: Ontaku Oroa Similarly, sending a mail makes it vulnerable to third parties as well.
Please explain to me how an encrypted mail is less secure than a physical package handled by numerous deck hands etc. Please explain to me how giving you my biometric data will reduce my own security risks. A physical package is always more vulnerable to breaches of security than a digital delivery.
Perhaps I should point out to you that deals of billions of isk are regularly handled by mail and even diplomatic negotiations deciding the fate of millions are simply sent by mail.
Just have the decency to admit you fell for a fake product. ____
