There are some pretty nasty tanks available for hulks, just train more then your bloody mining skills..

seriously though, if you don't want to be ganked, stay away from groups of miners, spread out, stops you being discoed. If you see couple of BC's warp in, gtfo. higher the Sec, the less likely you are to be ganked as well.
if you actually play the game rather than set it going and wander off, then you are much more likely to actually survive.
Just saying....

Miners stop whining about hulkaggeddon. Just fly around belts in a fast ship and watch for suicide squads, if they blow up a miner and get concorded just loot their wrecks... they really like that!

If you are flying a hulk you are by definition not a noob (takes more than a month to skill hulk thats even remotely useful nevermind save the isk for the ship/skills/mods), unless you ebuyed the char in which case you got what you deserved. Otherwise you fail by not following eve rule no. 1 "Don't fly ships you can't afford to lose". Noobs fly frigates and cruisers till they are competent at something (how long depends on the player obviously), not hideously expensive end game (it is the best mining ship after all) t2 mining barges.

The topic is about Hulkageddon being unfair to miners. My point is that is it not. What is yours?
