In the favour of the American player base. The UK and Europe will effectively have a 24 hour downtime, this is because alot go to bed at 11pm or midnight therefore not being able to sort out issues in Eve. I personally will have lost 12 hours of PI as my Launchpads will need filling right about now so I'm down something in the region of 25 million isk.
America however its only 5pm on the East Coast and 2pm on the West Coast so they get to sort there stuff out resulting in no loss for them.

Also if the move is successful and the networking issues have been resolved please what's stopping TQ going online?

The servers are in London, and the majority of CCP staff in Iceland. Do you really think they want to be working now?

i live on the American east coast and usually log in early in the morning for me. Its 6 my time now and i haven't been able to log on all day
the new estimate is 7 my time tonight, i doubt that will actually happen though. I have to go to bed around 10, so basically we've lost a whole day here too
i would have preferred the switch to have happened at night our time, it would have meant no lost time for me

They obviously felt that being American was punishment enough and didnt want to add to thier torment. have a heart.

Think about it, They use Microsoft software and the biggest player base is probably the US so you'd see why he thinks that.

1) right-click earth in your planets tab.
2) Select 'view in planet mode'
3) Rotate earth until the sun is back up on your side.

25M for a 12 hour duration?
Wow, had no idea PI was so crappy .. you can make 3-4 times that ratting in high-sec doing belts and encounter sites 
Let's change topic of thread to "Boost PI!!!11" .. would seem to be very much needed.

I like totally did a 2 year IT system support once. I think you should put me in charge of IT solutions for CCP. In my IT course we did stuff like problem solving a PC that would not boot up properly. With my expert diagnosis I came to the conclusion someone had inserted a floppy disk and set the bootdevice priority to the A: drive. I don't see how CCP can refuse my aid after hearing a story of such success.

CCP favors everyone who pays their monthly access fee. CCP is a corporation, they are in the business of entertainment, their goal is to make a profit. To even assume that CCP favors one country over another is paranoid propaganda. This whole timing issue is nothing more then unforseen issues that came up out of bad luck. You need to relax an be more open minded, there is no favortism, there is just the case of unfortunate events that happened to make the DT estend even further. Do yourself a favor, seek profession help if your having issues with paranoia.

1: the universe doesn't revolve around you.
2: sometimes things take longer than intended.
3: if the servers move was rushed and got online faster (just for you) but with issues you'd be the first whining fecker creating a thread whining about it.
4: your subscription pays for these moves/upgrades/expansions so why the feckin whining, the server will be better when it's back up
5: don't you have other things to do ? wouldn't a break from eve do you good 
if all the above fails to explain things then try this,, imagine your little digital spaceship is in for repairs and there is nothing you can do but sit and wait for the parts needed to be fitted.

some would say European players are favoured everyday because they can log in right after downtime and strip fresh belts, while Americans got them vanished when they wake up LMAO.

I'm against almost any form of deliberate nuisance or annoyance weapon/module.
Yes, I can imagine a bunch of griefers running a bunch of these outside Jita 4/4 and that's precisely why I'm against it. Some people here may remember what happened when CCP gave out the snowball launchers.

I'm glad Eve has no sound.
Over here they made a program to filter out the sound those things make when you watched the games on the internet.
I would like to know how so many people like this thing so much =( Chants are much more awesome imo. Much more fun to have 20k people sing the same thing =P
