I was ratting and hauling for some miner buddies in 0.0 and we get a hauler spawn. It's three BS sized haulers and two cruisers. The miners warp out, I kill the spawn and go get my hauler.
I come back to find the haulers dropped a total of 75 million (3 x 25)tritanium. Now at first I was pretty happy but after dragging the first load into my cargo bay, I realize it can only carry 2.71 mil trit. And I have to take all of this to the next system over.
After two hours of continuous hauling, I arrive at the belt just in time to see the last wreck pop. Oh well, it was only about 12 mil trit.
Has anyone else come across this problem and how did you get all the trit moved? I'm thinking CCP needs to get rid of trit in the hauler spawns in 0.0 and replace it with the equivalent amount of other minerals.

Edited by: Anisa Schardl on 23/06/2010 22:53:56 Happens all the time. Usually if you're ratting in one of your home systems, there's enough time to haul it yourself. If you have to do some jumps to get it home, probably need a friend.
You can speed it up drastically by using an Orca or Rorqual. Neither of these is a good idea if you're not in a home system, but if you are, you're fine.
They already can drop the other minerals. Just Trit is the most common, and the biggest pain. I've had hauler spawns where it's only middle and highend materials, and it only took me a minute or two to haul it all.

Rigged industrials aren't too bad for the job, better than a bs/bc anyway lol.
Or can tell other people about and be all communal. Unless belts are complete crap...jsut not worth it for me to run the badger for a hauler spawn and say p-m hauler spawn in corp channels, have at it. I got very high quality rats on the belt..rather farm them than haul trit.

Rorquals have a cargo capacity of 40k m3. My rigged Mammoth has a cargo capacity of a little over 27k m3. The amount of trit that dropped was 750k m3. That would just about fit into a freighter.
Trit sells for 3 ISK minimum in my area so that's 225 mil just sitting in a belt. If CCP are going to put that much ISK in one drop then they could at least make sure the average player can get it moved on his own within two hours.

I've finally got EveHQ working on my ubuntu 10.04 machine. Process is quite simple, you will need the last development version of wine (now 1.2rc4) and the winetricks script.
I suggest making a new dedicated wine environment by typing in your command line
WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.wine-EveHQ winecfg
download the script by tiping
wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks
and run it withe the following command
WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.wine-EveHQ ./winetricks dotnet11 dotnet20 fm20 fontfix gdiplus gecko jet40 mdac27 mdac28 msxml4 msxml6 ulrmon vb5run vb6run vcrun2005 vcrun2008 vcrun6 vjrun20 wininet allfonts
It will take a wile and some of the stuff it will install might be useless but that's how I've done it.
Once that's done download EveHQ and install by running
WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.wine-EveHQ wine msiexec /i ./EveHQ1.15.2.1820.msi
Installation should run flawlessly and you will now have a shortcut in your menu and on your desktop. Double click and the splash screen will come up.
Unfortunately the alert the ask you to select a database is covered by the splash screen, just select it from your taskbar and hit enter. You should now have the usual setting window where you can proceed just like on windows.
Only bug I've found this far is that sometimes right click wont work, my solution is to use the keyboard shortcut.
Hope this help, please feel free to post suggestion and problems.
