Edited by: Naela Soprano on 26/06/2010 11:54:56 Edited by: Naela Soprano on 26/06/2010 11:53:37 I recently started playing eve and i decided to go into mining, production and trade to make lots of isk. After mining, refining and selling ore i started researching if it would be more profitable to start producing stuff but there was so many numbers and hard to calculate with a calculator so i made a spreadsheet for this purpose.
Spreadsheet instructions: 1. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING DONT CHANGE ANYTHING IN WHITE OR YELLOW BOXES 2. go to Spreadsheet 3. Log onto google 4. Go to File -> Make a copy... 5. Check what prices you can buy or sell minerals for ingame (depending on if you farm or buy them) and enter the exact prices in red boxes 6. Write whatever you want in teal box to show what item it is in that lane 7. Fill in the green boxes accordingly (use the YOU: material numbers and production time on BPs) 8. Check profit in yellow boxes
The "Production efficiency bonus:" in the top is if you want to see the profit if you had more levels of the Production efficiency skill, set it to 0 if you are not sure what i mean.
Please post here if you got suggestions. Any donations can be sent to Nalha Saldana ingame

Nice formatting and simple enough to use but really pretty much useless with only 5 or so blue print details in there. If I need fill in my own I might as well just use another tool that already has it done for me. Good work anyway.

The whole point of filling in the info urself is that you the amount of minerals you need depends on your skills and how much research has been done to the BPC. And tbh i dont got time to input every BP :P
Is there a better tool for calculating production profits?

Try this one: Manufacturing Profit. Only you can decide if it is better for your own purposes.
