Kudos again to you guys for staying to fight even tho we had an extra BS and a three extra cruisers/frigs.

Yeah, good fight. First ship i've lost in combat in a few months, cant even remember the last one lol. With you all jumping in i lagged, scambled, and died so not much of a fight for me.

The funniest thing I recall is some young Amarrian noting that there were only 10 people in gang and all the others (that bumped the count in local to 34) just follwed it. The only thing the 7 of us could do is to launch all our drones to match the numbers :D

Just for the nitpickers out there:
m0o had 7 battleships (1 Tempest, 2 Megathrons, 2 Scorps and 2 Ravens + 1 Blackbird)
The CVA gang jumped in with
8 battleships + 4 support cruisers/frigs
So m0o were outnumbered 12 to 8 in overall ship terms and by 1 battleship. However, they did have the defensive position and drones out.
End result was 4 dead m0o (2 Megas, a Scorp and a BB). The Emperor blessed the Amarr fleet and as a result they suffered no losses...
I give m0o credit for sticking around to fight despite the number disadvantage and they have still killed more than us than we have killed of them...
I am also sure they will kill more

I wasnt there obivously so I can only go by what you said and what my guys tell me, so here goes...
With the comment I highlighted bold, we didnt know they were not with you, and by your own words was another anti m0o fleet, so as far as we were concerned thats a whole lot of ships wanting a piece of us.
However by the sound of what happened it was all over by the time they got there anyway so gg.

We have a fraps of the first 1:30 of the engagement.
We count 8 battleships of yours plus 6 or 7 support AND the gate going of right before the end of the vid. Madcap says there was 4 other BS on the other side of the gate in jump range when he jumped out.
We overlooked a seemingly minor issue regarding locking ships that are uncloaking from a jump, and we learned a valuable lesson. Thank you for the opportunity. The scathing RP in local afterwards was nearly intolerable, however. I think you guys have stumbled on a very powerful new form of smacktalk.

As regards local chat we have found roleplay works rather well although we do try and ensure it doesn't go over into OOC insults...

Yeah that was us
Huzzah Federation Finally got off our colective asses and gathered a fleet to try to break the camp at R3 we have lost to many ships trying to enter our space
Pie our ally's beats us to it however had we known Pie was planning a attack on m0o we had jumped in earlyer as it is now we need to get with the Loyalist Amarr and find a schedule to camp that gate for cows as they are rather unsightly in our space
great job to Pie and I am also impressed that m0o did not run when engaged by superior numbers

It was a quick and fun fight. We stood our ground and lost a few ships. But for the most part, i recall 14 in local and 7 were us. then when the fight happened it showed 34 and i seen some warp in and gate after. I was one of the last to warp out.
But kudos to you guys for actually amounting a force unlike PA. Took balls to engage us and you did it with honor til the roleplaying commenced in local and annoyed the hell out of me.

That was all my fault. Forgot it was .1 not 0.0 and started shooting at you. You may've got the last shot off buy in all honesty the sentry guns did about 95% of the damage to my tanked Prophecy. I'm surprised I held out as long as I did actually. It took several rounds from the guns to get me down. Still watching those big batches of red suddenly appear on my HUD wheel each time it hit. OUCH!
Good chase though. Maybe we'll run into each other in 0.0 and I'll have a chance to return the favor.

Just regarding the RP in local. It actually takes alot of work to be a "fire breathing evangelical fanatic" like that. I'm actually very liberal in RL and don't exactly follow that path. So it's a challenge. Fortunately there are websites for Amarrian religion out there. We can even copy "Amarr Bible" versus to post in local. As it is holy Amarrian space we have to clense the heathens.
But RP in local with m0o led to one of the funniest things I've ever seen in Eve since early beta when I started. We were camping a system with 4-5 m0o guys in it. They were hiding in a safespot and we were guarding the exits. I was preaching away and having a great time.
Suddenly one of the m0o guys screams in local:
Oh my God I had to put up with this stuff in primary school please make it stop!
He "snapped" 
Anyway we had a good laugh about it. It was funny.
