The real reason for the DT been extended by 1 hour is because CCP got that much fun out of reading the threads the last time, they decided to do it again as they are suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

Its to be expected as its a patch day...every company has problems during patch days, none of which need to patch a single server that runs the entire game on.
I think CCP should bring in EVE gamers and let them attempt to do a patch day, then they can experience the amount of work involved and would inevitably shut everyone up when it comes to people b*tching and moaning like spoilt brats;
"OMG WAAAAAAA I CAN'T PLAY FOR AN HOUR, MOMMMMMY"
I've heard adults moan like their kids the past week due to unforeseen problems, people need to man up and get a real life. o/

No-one is saying that patching the game is easy. What we ARE saying is that CCP havent got a clue as to how to work out deadlines.
To mess it up so soon after the last one isnt because of problems, its sheer incompetence.

It might be a bit of an incentive to finish as promised if it started costing them money every time they missed a deadline...

Anyone that cant see that CCPs customer service//quality control stinks, needs a Titan shoving where the sun doesnt shine in order to wake them up.
