Offtopic.. anyone else find it funny that whenever we edit a post it says "edited at" and when the Dev's edit it isnt there.. That way to anyone that isnt an idiot it looks like they knew all the time that it would be down as long as it was, but for everyone that was there waiting we know different LOL

Seriously, this. I'm not mad at CCP for missing yet another deadline, I've worked in IT, I know how it can be, the unexpected always happens. However, they should also know this and plan the deadline for it!
Start telling people "Oh, there's some... stuff happening in this patch, it'll take at least a day!". Patch the server in 2 hours, fix the unexpected bug in another hour, and use the other 21 hours for bug testing OR playing beer pong on the new server cabinets, your choice :)
Yes it would make downtimes longer, but hey, then you wouldn't have people *****ing about "OMGWTF MISSED DEADLINE AGAIN!" etc.

i wonder will we get compensation for the downtime caused trying to give us compensation leading to yet more compensation :p
seriously tho why don't your estimates ever come close like at all, i thinm you should tell the guy making them to double anything he wants to make as the estimate then atleast people won't be sitting waiting for something that doesn't happen.

ok ccp, who is in charge on your developers team, that is planning to postpone finishing patch works again and again.
Can you just plan to set date, time . This is called PLANNING, guys.

Godammit, just post that the server's going to be up at 23:00 UTC, and bring it up early, then I can stop coming back and optimistically checking TQ every 30 minutes >.>

I know i dont intend accepting their 'gift' if its 100k SP as rumoured elsewhere, as I dont believe that its adequate by any means.
