The tone is half joking so I give the evemail 2 pts for humor. OTOH the mods might not give the OP any points for posting an evemail w/name attached. Besides being a big no-no this is more C&P  stuff anyway. Around here we don't do gloat threads. I know, I know. Yes, we do gloat we just don't do gloat threads.  When you chop logic and split hairs, do it well or don't do it at all.

Shar you've been around for a long while (insert ob. age joke) so maybe you have firsthand experience with CCP saying so, but after a limited search I don't find any documentation from CCP supporting your statement above that "posting evemail ... [is] a big no-no". The CCP rules for the C&P forum do prohibit evemails (regardless whether the sender's identity is redacted), but those rules specifically state they are for C&P.
The general forum rules have some imprecise rules about "being respectful" (#4), "no personal attacks" (#6), "no trolling" (#7), and "no profanity (not even masked)" (#19), any or all of which could conceivably apply to the OP (by some Barney Fief moderator). But I don't see any rule that is directly on point regarding quoting evemails.
I am *not* taking the position that posting such evemails is ok, I'm merely asking is there some official documentation to substantiate the position.

Getting hate mail for carebear activities is certainly an achievement.
I do find it annoying when people repeatedly undercut by more than 0.01 because there really is no point.

When someone undercuts me by a large amount I undercut him by .01 to drive the point home and then fight down to the last cent, assuming it's not simply more profitable to buy him out in the first place. Sometimes I'll even go into red, depending on long-term strategy, my mood, and the color of the sky at that moment. But I can see how this might drive competition out of the market, so people like you will keep doing it :-)

There are plenty of very good reasons why someone would undercut by more than 0.01 isk, especially in a crowded market. Is it better to take 10% of the volume at a 40% markup or 90% of the volume at a 10% markup?
That's just one good reason.
Hate the people who undercut by more than 0.01 who are nonetheless playing the 0.01 isk game.

There is a way to bypass the profanity filter (I do it occasionally for words that get part-filtered like sc****d) but doing so is very very dangerous. One of them you hope the mods are in a damned forgiving mood kind of dangerous. All of them btw - It only takes one to not like it.

if you do that in jita someone will either buy you out or undercut you again in less than 1 minute so what you are doing is only hurting the market for that particular item. I cant speak for other trade hubs cause i only work in jita but if you think undercutting everyone for 200k will save you from 0.01 isk games you are a moron

This. My experience is with Jita also but basically it doesn't work most of the time. In Suah's example you're exchanging 10% volume at 40% markup for 10% volume at 10% markup.
