Edited by: CoolSnaz on 06/07/2010 13:00:41 It mentions that is was a deep space salvage ship. So in line with that idea how about: ò3 High slots (no turret or missile hard points) òNo Med Slots ò4 Low slots ò+2 to warp Strength òHave bonuses given to salvage distance allowing for 20Km salvage range and an 80% reduction in weapon effectiveness to deter it being used offensively. òHave the Command Centre bay turned into a small corporate hanger bay.
These modifications would allow it to be used as a deep space salvage ship without breaking it.
The High Slots: It shouldnÆt have weapons but I know not all weapons need a hard point, hence the reduction in weapon effectiveness.
The Med Slots: No med slots because a salvage ship doesnÆt need them.
The Low Slots: Any hauler needs its med slots, and these can also be used to augment some sort of emergency armour tank.
The Warp Strength: I figured this ship is a target in high sec in low sec it doesnÆt stand any chance unless you fit warp core stabilizers, but then there goes you tank and/or cargo space.
The Salvage Bonus: This is not a fast ship and it isnÆt supposed to be a looting ship. This modification would allow it to be best a salvaging ship, either for mopping up mission salvage or cleaning the battlefield after large engagements.
Bay Change: This is to allow other ships, perhaps interceptors to gather loot and dump it here. As an afterthought, it could also be used to supply ships in battle with ammo or cap boosters without dropping a can or becoming offensive.
What do you think?

Fairimear* I thought about a covert cloak but it isnÆt a stealth vessel it is a salvage ship adapted to PI, so the three high slots I suggested would allow for an improved cloak and two salvagers. This would allow it to hide, but not make it almost impossible to catch.
Abrazzar* WouldnÆt you rather a ship that had some sort of practical use, rather than being given a collectorÆs item that we all know the collectors already have? And even if a new collector comes along all they have to do is ask anyone who was around at that time of the launchàI already have five of them. In addition to this, making it useful would increase its value and appreciation for a well made ship. And by cutting out any further seeding of this ship keeps its uniqueness as a one time gift.
