Edited by: Federation Spokesman on 16/12/2004 20:16:16 The Xetic Federation proudly announces the empire war against Curse Alliance to be closed.
After weeks of fighting in empires space in a bloody war sanctioned by CONCORD, Xetic Council has decided that all objectives for the war has been closed to our satisfaction. After having been adviced by the officer stab, the Council took a unanimous decision that the war in empires space would no longer be necessary, and that focus would return from the conflict to matters of more mundane nature.
From all over comes reports by Xetic military leaders of success, with good to extremely good fare in the war. Throughout the conflict we have grown ever stronger.
The wars declared by the corporation called Supremacy, was retracted. The war against the corporation RUS ended quickly with the Curse Corporation swiftly surrendering. And now, all that is left of Curse Alliance's industrial base in the empires have to a great extent left the formal nation alliance.
On all objectives, the war operations succeded. Further disruption of ordinary citizens are deemed unecessary. Peace once more will reign in empire space.

Your surrendering and trying to declare a victory?
You lost more ships and you are trying to declare a victory?
Kudos for having a go and having some good fights but i think you are stretching a bit.

Almost too bad it's over, both sides had some great fight and a lot of fun during the war. It's been the most exciting period in my playing time so far, hope all other involved feel the same :)
Our goal for the war has been met, so i guess that means the end of the war: "This war will be active as long as the Curse Alliance's PvP corps continue their wars against our alliance." - Yoristar, at the declaration of the war.
I think it has been a really nice experience for xetic, we now have a much bigger member base with pvp knowledge to use in 0.0 / future wars. So see you around in 0.0 for more fun CA :)

Yep, it figures someone would come along and post garbage like this. Son, surrendering and retracting are two different things. You should know YOUR corporation did just that. And please lets not get into who lost more ships, NO ONE can qualify that statement accurately.

CA can always declare war on XF if they think they are winning. There pockets should be deep enough considering their huge refining tax. But let me guess... They won't. Everybody can draw the conclusion

Refreshing - I missed the relentless spewing of smack from CA that strangely disappeared right after the start of the Xetic war. Good to have everything back to normal again.

I agree with what u say about retracting but it has to be said Supremacy retracting the waris a bit of a misnomer as we are rejoining CA and were looking forward to carrying on the fight. Your retracting the war and trying to save face with misleading posts on the forums.
Whilst I know its hard to prove, do u really deep down believe for one second that you scored more kills than us or for that matter you could beat CA in a straight forward fight ie Xetic v CA?
Just to add as people replied while i was typing, I didnt see my post as smacktalk in fact as ive said kudos to Xetic for having a go.
I have to agree aswell I would be suprised if CA declared war simply because I think with the recent changes it will all revert back to a 0.0 war with teh real players SE v CA.
Still no matter what happens, I doff my cap to the Xetic boys that fought and hopefully will continue fight.

XF declared on CA because you attacked us using a non-Alliance CA corp, Supremacy, to avoid taking losses in your weaker areas and paying big bills. Our condition for the wars end was that Supremacy retract, you did this and so met our terms.
If you call our retraction surrender then you must do the same for yours, which occured first. Still, at least XF and SE took ALL our corps into our respective alliances, unlike CA that left their weaker ones out to be safe.
In the end we were seeing lots of CA corps that we couldn't even shoot in empire because they weren't in either SPERM or CA, you don't gain respect for doing that. If you wish to continue the war then have Supremacy declare on us again, see what happens then.
Perhaps you should be as respectful as some of your other corp posters have been and stop trying to lie to the high heavens.

Sorry mate it just doesn't matter at all. Both sides will state a different version.
XF acted by declaring war on CA. Now CA can act in the same way if they think it would be a good move for them. CA can carry on with the war if they think that CA is winning.
But perhaps CA wants to make sure that they are not losing their 0.0 space first...

So why are Black Lotus Clan not in the official Curse Alliance?
Yet another fine example of CA bending game rules.
