I'm going to remove this piece from my works and edit this post. But think about this: look at all signatures on eveo and check backgrounds / images / and pictures used to do them, and just ask yourself a question... do you think they made everything themselves?
Of course not...

They used pictures as a materiel. I never claimed this background as MY creation. I just used it as a materiel. At least, I didnĘt use the Bird of the original wallpaper, but just a little part of the background to produce something really nice for my corporations benefit.
SO Indeed, it wasn't a public stock, but holy **** man, stop getting crazy about ONE f******** background... I remind you that I used it for my own corporation banner, made for free. NOT FOR A CLIENT.

But think about this: Those people are not asking for ISK to rip off other people's work like you are doing.

I use sometimes things that other have done, only as background, the rest is what i make myself, so it's not plagia, it's a totally different creation. Websites like deviant art can be of good inspiration and make for very nice backgrounds.
What's the point of even doing that? That background would take seconds to make with some grunge brushes and minimal skill.

fraud is a strong term. there is a line between using work that is creative commons and fraudulantly using work. CCP have a limited permission agreement allowing players to use their images/artwork, as long as they dont claim that they created the artwork (paraphrasing, and not exactly - see the agreement in the fan media pack provided on the forums). Eosyn does not claim he made the artwork, but made a different piece of work with the use of another piece. There are also a lot of stock image sites that allow free use of their images. My signature is one example of this, i believe it was a national geographic photograph. I do not claim i took the photograph, i just manipulated it to look how it does right now. asking for isk or not is irrelevant. It is in-game currency and effectively worthless in the real world. You will find that it would be extremely difficult to prosecute anybody asking for ISK under any government of law. Your accusation may prove to be correct, depending on the source of his images. i suggest you research this and obtain some evidence before making accusations.

Holy s**t... I used ONE background for ONE banner, and AGAIN, i didn t even sold it and i never claimed the creation of this background. What the **** are you talking about ?
