I really don't know why Im writing this...
It was some fool that apparently knew me before...my pathetic other self that died some months ago and a short time after the gift I was given by Revan Neferis was blown out of space.
Needless to say I was not in a good mood...anyway, this fool saunters up to me in the station's bar I frequent and believes that there is some "connection" between us...all I know is that he used me when I was weak and I hated him for it.
As this Rivvil kisses me I slowly stand up pulling him to me as I slip my knife into him just below the ribs. He tries to seperate from me, but its too late.
Thats when he convulsed slightly, not much more than a hiccup or a cough...then I tasted it, the blood on my tounge, his blood, hard to describe the taste really. There was something else too, something...mystical, like a rush of adreneline...or some drug.
I started to feel heady almost intoxicated, warm...as if there was some energy flooding through me...what it is I don't know...maybe I shouldn't know. -Syn

Even though it was the Amarr that birthed the Blood Cults (No offense to the Thrice Illustrious Soverign) originally, I'll take your comment as a compliment.
The reason for this little nugget of curiosity is actually quite simple...I wonder if what I experienced is the proverbial "tip of the iceberg". Is this feeling the same thing that the Thrice Illustrious Soverign Neferis and her followers experience? I thought that sharing the strange sensation might allow me to gain some enlightenment on the matter.
Ever since I "awakened" from my pathetic former existence, it seems like I see things through the eyes of a child sometimes...so many things are strange and new, so many new sensations.

Those who know me understand that there are fragments of my old "self" that I have managed to recapture...some of which I wish I had not...
<snears with disgust at the memory>
...one that intrigues me is a book...a dark, thick, heavy book that my former "caretaker" owned and always kept secreted away from public view. From the few times I saw it one word in Amarrian stood out to me Sani Sabik which in Amarrian means "bloodfriends"...I know this is totally obvious to most.
I know (from the fragments of memory that I've recovered...dreams mostly) that this book held some importance to me before, a sort of unyielding pull at something inside my head my soul maybe...she, me, I whatever, was obsessed with it.
A lot of these revelations took place after the run in with the Rivvil idiot at the bar. Strange dreams started coming to me after I had tasted his lifeblood...and Im not a strong believer in coincidence. I dont understand what is happening to me and what it means.

Ms. Callibri, I would like to use this opportunity to offer you counselling and therapy at one of our private medical facilities. It is obvious you are suffering from deep psychological trauma and could benefit from expert help, while I have here at my desk a memo from the project lead at the Psychology Department of our Exotic Projects Division requesting capsuleer specimens suffering from any kind of mental disorder for statistical analysis and treatment research. So you might be able to help us out as well, as volunteers are preferred.
The offer is extended to everyone who might feel eligible, of course. EPD has state of the art facilities in nullsec space ensuring your period of treatment and recuperation will not, in any way, be interrupted.

Confusion and a lack of understanding about things that are happening in ones life (which tends to happen when activation takes place without a download from what I understand) are a far cry from mental illness and unless you or your colleagues can coujure up the shade that was once me or raise the dead, I think your services will be of little use to me...but thank you anyway. I was referring more to your fascination with the cannibalistic rituals and tendencies of some cults. Such interests are unhealthy by themselves, but more to the point, fascination with them implies some sort of a psychological trauma. These cultists actually break the personality of prospective members before fully accepting them in their ranks, often inflicting severe mental trauma which results in pathological behavior patterns.
I am no expert of course, but it occurs to me that you might have in fact been traumatized by them or subjected to a similar situation before and you have repressed the memory of it. Our trained psychologists might know more.
Seek answers from science, Ms. Callibri, that is the only advice I can extend, and hope you shall resolve your issues in a proper, humane manner.

answers...bah, who needs those anyway.
You all talk of blood like its some sort of brilliant gateway drug, the window to some higher understanding. You're nothing but deluded idiots. There is no higher understanding, there is no greater force, there is no deeper meaning. This is all there is to the world, you'll be better off once you realize that.
That rush you feel when you take someone's life, when you feel their blood on your hands, on your lips? Its nothing. Nothing but your mind letting go, letting your dark pleasures surface, the darkness in your mind unbound, it is...liberating, I'll give it that.
But you'll find no higher meaning from it. Violence is nothing but a tool, a means to an end. Be that pleasure, wealth, power, influence....but the act itself is meaningless.
Its what you get out of it that matters.

I would encourage you to push these desires aside, and to seek professional psychiatric help in doing so if necessary. These cannibilistic mystics would love to see you debase yourself to their level of primitive, uncontrolled barbarism, because that would justify their own fall from humanity. Read their responses to you carefully--you amuse them at best.
Surely you can find a better role to play in civilized humanity. Wisdom is about the control of your instincts and the channeling of your desires to productive purpose. Getting endorphine rushes from murder and the taste of bodily fluids is does not fit into that.

Granted, I don't know you. But these sound like bad dreams or repressed memories. If you want to know what they mean, you want a psychiatrist. The Sani Sabik will simply twist them into what they want them to mean, twisting you in the process. A cult does not offer objective truths. It looks like your mind is already made up, though.

Its not a matter of making up my mind...its a matter of wishing to converse with those that hold the information, the same information that my former Master and Mistress held..."The Experts" if you will and I have been told that in matters of the occult, that the Dread Soverign has few peers. Besides, I have spoken with her before on other matters in the past and walked away unscathed, wiser, and grateful for her insights.
Unlike many of you, she didn't give thought to "your distubed...deluded...you need help...a space vampire, etc...". She listened patiently, and offered her thoughts, nothing more. So in that respect...she has a point above the rest of you. She if nothing else, has my respect.

I didn't mean to call you anything. I merely suggested psychiatric help. It isn't something to be ashamed of, especially to those who lived lives as strange as ours. Heaven's know it helped me make a better life for myself.
As for the negative reactions you have gotten, can you really expect people to react positively to the consumption of that which keeps them alive? It goes against civilized nature, and is thus forbidden by most societies.
I won't bother you with any more unwanted advice. Just know that the cult will not teach you to understand and deal with issues such as these...they teach you to give in to them. There's a difference. Let's fill the stars with love! |

How am I insane...isn't it fact that no matter the method, time, or horrible nature of our "deaths" we rise again, smarter, wiser, better, are we not immortal by definition?
Should I live to be three-hundred and die of old age, will I not rise again no older than I am now? Isn't that what all of the legends of gods, angels, and demons attribute to them?
Why is it deluded to want what is mine by birth and was stripped away by circumstance?
Why is it disturbed to call myself by the name and title that is mine alone to have?

Ms. Callibri, immortality does not absolve one from their duties and responsibilities as a human being. To reject those, as the blood cults preach, is to become *less* than human, not more. Furthermore, it is science, not occultism, which grants you all your abilities as a capsuleer. We are not gods, we are just technologically endowed. And as any combat captain will tell you, our abilities are far from limitless.
Mr. Xanthus, it seems you are, mistakenly, linking someone's personal wealth and influence with their occult "powers", when in fact money and charisma are quite enough to do the trick. But you are certainly not alone - in fact, a quick browse through some of our previous case studies amongst their kind indicate that the cult leadership is often very aware of this mechanism and have quite a cynical attitude towards it.

The Sani Sabik
Definition
A group of genetically-enhanced individuals (at least at the highest echelons) which include many of the Universe's wealthiest people, top political leaders, and corporate elite, as well as members of the so-called Black Nobility of Amarr.
Their modus Operandi is to affect control over politics, business and warfare and to dramatically reduce the cluster's population by allowing only the strong of each race to reproduce and a number of the population who will live to feed the needs and minds of their leaders. While the name Blood raiders is the term most frequently used today to loosely refer to anyone involved in this stream of faith, the study of exactly who makes up these groups is a complex and intricate one.
Extracts from the Apocrypha, book of Initiations VII, verses 2,3: "In the Perfect World There will be one religion, just the Sani Sabik philosophy of richness, power and wealth. There will be one government. There will be one army. Homelessness will never be an option. The unfit to produce wealth will be eliminated. Hunger will never cross the lips of man. The unfit to sustain himself will be eliminated. There will be no poverty. The unfit to use life as it is given will be eliminated. There will be no diseased. The unfit to use his body and mind to the greater development of mankind will be eliminated. There will be no evil, as the concept of evil itself will be forever banished from the minds of men. There will be no waste. The Universe will function as a perfect machine. Divinity and men, are one"
In essence The Sani Sabik is a call to Responsibility. You succeed or you're not worth the gift of life.

I am well aware of cult propaganda Ms. Neferis, no need to repeat it here. We have it on file.
To be as succinct as possible, that definition of responsibility certainly matches your psychological profile. Which is saying a lot about the definition.
A rebuttal is simple - a perfect world is coaxed into existence, not brutally forced. Perfection is a fragile thing, often broken by those who seek to grasp it in a clenched fist.

Unless you serve for something, you are useless like 99% of the IGS stalkers here. I hope the advice will be taken.

<Syn slowly opens her eyes to the dark room, the air still heavy with the scent of burning incense. The bitter tang of Trilorum root lingers on her tounge, the sensation of chilled sweat "tickling" its way down her naked spine, face, chest.
She breaths in slowly, reflecting on the clarity...the meaning gained from her meditation. Revan Neferis' words still echo in her thoughts, as do the words of so many others.
Her thoughts turn to the voice that came to her in her altered awareness...You are my daughter...you are the last...you will be the greatest of us...you are Ilharess now...two small halting words escape her lips.>
"...Ilhar...mother.".

Mighty Dread Soverign...<nods out of respect>...I have meditated on your words carefully for no small time.
Regretablly, I am not destined to be of the Sani Sabik..all that I am (mind, body, soul) belongs to Vulkoor...
<she touches the dark ritual marks near her eyes>
...the ancient patron of Callibri.
However, I would hope that this does not affect the personable exchanges with you that I find so enjoyable and would like to consider you a respected and wise friend...if it pleases you to do so, of course.
I do so look forward to shraing those drinks with you at some time in the future. Perhaps I could expand on Vulkoor to you sometime...you may find that we are not so different.

For the best. Whatever path you seek, may it lead you to greatness. Don't be like these mindless IGS empty mouths only unable to do at space what they say here. If you seek richness achieve there and come here to attest it. If you seek Power, make it visible there, next come here to tell the stories. If you seek influence, make sure to have it apparent there, and just after come to show it here.
Mock the weak, give them no rest. Use and abuse of their words. And give respect to those who deserves it.
Good luck in your path.

Thank you for your insight...albiet late since the decision not to become Sani Sabik has already been decided by powers greater than myself. Though I refuse to shun the Sani Sabik regardless of the fact that others find thier way...unappealing. Revan Neferis has my respect...one predator to another.

It's neither, really.
The thing is, the Thrice-Illustrious doesn't really bother to hide what she's doing. There's no (or very, very little) pretense of serious discussion. What she's engaged in isn't argument; it's not even sophistry.
It's mockery.
The Thrice-Illustrious understands power: its forms, its uses, how to gather, sustain, and apply it. This mockery is a demonstration of power, showing that she can cheerfully take the words of her detractors, twist and distort them, and then walk away laughing while the "serious people" who try to challenge her are left snarling in outrage.
Because she doesn't really think of many of us as worth talking seriously with, she turns attempts to engage with her to her advantage and amusement. It's a calculated demonstration of superiority.
If power is central to one's vision of the world, it's an impressive display. If not, well....
It's important to remember that Revan does not consider herself in any way "limited." To her, this is Truth she has grasped; anything else is a pile of weak excuses (this is why our criticisms are meaningless to her, except as tools). In this sense, she really does make a pretty impressive representative for her cause: she believes what she believes, and plays it to the hilt.
Perhaps that, in and of itself, is admirable. But unless you particularly want to spend your life admiring one pretty, razor-edged shard of truth, I don't recommend emulating her.

Sister...in what is the balance between predator and prey which are the teachings of Vulkor, there is no want to consider the methods and motivations of another...only the pure division of hunter and hunted.
Your words make you seem fearful of those you mock..."canabalistic crazies with a blood fetish" and "Damned bloodsucking lunatics". Understand this I beg you...they are nothing more than a different predator of the same desert in which "we" dwell. Vulkor teaches that one must either "co-exist...respecting each others hunting grounds, eat, or be eaten".
You must choose your place in the desert, predator or prey there is nothing between.

You ignorance of the universe's ebb and flow around you truly marks you a fool...that can change if you want, I can help you.
The way of Vulkor has nothing to do with "cats" or "scavengers"...and the desert is far from mythical.
As I have said before...morality has nothing to do with the choice of being hunter or hunted...in that there is no right or wrong, good or evil, it just is as it should be...must be.
As to your perception of..."high-tech galactic civilization of increasingly transcendent human beings", stop deluding yourself. No matter the level of technology or our predisposition to our genius, we are nothing more than the predators and the prey that dwell in the desert of New Eden...if you think we are more than that...then may whatever gods you pray to protect you.

Based on your comment you are a prime example to the reason that the Amarr think us stupid and un-intelligent.
Had you bothered to pay attention you would have noticed that I only sought answers at the source rather than the biased retoric of others.
To make you better informed and sound a lot less ignorant...I have fought against the Amarr on many occasions, I have freed many of our brothers and sisters from the shackles of slavery...granted, I had to buy some of thier freedom, and freely transported them to Hi-Sec areas under escort of the Republic Navy for re-location to thier home tribes. I have fought Amarrian slavery with every weapon at my disposal.
Before you pretend at courage by threatening me while hiding behind armor plate, artillery, or autocannons; why not challenge me according to Minmatar traditions...one on one, blade to blade...that is our way brother, remember where you come from and what you are.
...and Vulkor's judgment shall come upon one of them, pierced by the blade that is the sting of "his" justice and upon that judgment shall the judged one's lands and possesions be unto the victor, he who is predator to the prey. For the worthy's strength will come to him by "The King" and that strength can not be withstood...
As to your concerns of my fraternizing with blood raiders...that is none of your concern.
I am not branded a terrorist, and have accomplished more through my methods than was ever accomplished by random acts of violence. You fight for freedom your way...leave me to mine, "brother".

Again you silly child, you threaten my with missiles and cannon rather than challenge me in the way of our ancestors. There is no courage involved in space combat...you can't look me in the eye as you turn the knife now can you...watch the life fade from my eyes as my life becomes yours...or feel my last breath on your skin as I die?
To your accusations, still you berate my actions when yours are no better...and still you have not answered the question, "How many loyal brothers and sisters of Matar have you accidentally killed during your "liberations"? You take the cowards route, blustering and boasting and pointing your finger accusingly at a true sister of Matar. My methods of freeing our enslaved kin are not yours, but the results cannot be denied...and all of the ones I freed are still alive and safe.
May all that is Matar watch over you and keep you.

I've mates among the Matari corps. As far as I'm concerned, you've got enough fighting to deal with, without little ol' me getting in the way.
However, perhaps some of your elders might remember the lengths I personally went through to try and get a working prototype of the insorum drug on your side. Maybe then you'd learn some humility and respect your betters and/or elders.
Or maybe you're just as naive as the rest of your young sort. Sometimes, even devils can aid the troubled...

Quote: You take the cowards route, blustering and boasting and pointing your finger accusingly at a true sister of Matar. My methods of freeing our enslaved kin are not yours, but the results cannot be denied...and all of the ones I freed are still alive and safe.
Please. What are your methods, do tell, because the slavers do not let go of their possessions without a fight. Or without getting paid. Are you buying your "honor"? Is that it? And true Matari do not idolize slavers - not only slavers but far worse - at least regular ones do not eat their captives. You are a joke with a knife, which thinks a simple stab is enough to be taken seriously.
Originally by: Mebrithiel Ju'wien However, perhaps some of your elders might remember the lengths I personally went through to try and get a working prototype of the insorum drug on your side. Maybe then you'd learn some humility and respect your betters and/or elders.
So? If you are a blood raider, if your creed is torture and pain and death of those you capture, then you can shove your Insorum where the sun does not shine, preferably attached to a long wooden stake.
Or are you going to say that you guys are "reformed" now? *chuckles*

Arranged to have me flayed alive...again you avoid direct personal confrontation. It takes far more to frighten me than you have at your disposal I'm sure.
I will speak of MY ancestors as I will, as any Matari has the right to do and it is apparent that I know them far better than you whelp.
Oh believe this...I have killed far more than one being in my time. Most...the most satisfying...were face to face as it should be.
To date I have saves 2500 Matari souls; men, women, and children...not a great number, when compared to the number that have been killed incidentally or colaterally by terrorists "just making a point" I'm sure...how many is that I wonder?
My methods are mine...as I have stated them to you before, and have no need to do so again. I will do whatever is needed to free them, be that kill, pay...whatever. Thier freedom is tantamount to me, not making a spectacle of myself to advertize how important to the universe I am or wrapping myself in my accomplishments like a flag.
I will take them to safety, teach them, make them of the desert...hunters that will bring the wrath of our ancestors against those that have defiled us as a race...they will be the predators once again, when the time is right.
...the patient hunter, the quiet hunter, will triumph for they will not hunger. The prey will come to them...

Well, if you like I can arrange for you to be held while I flay you alive? Though I do not know why exactly should I stoop down to that level. I am a starship captain, little girl, not some drooling savage with a sharp piece of metal.
Quote: Oh believe this...I have killed far more than one being in my time.
Most of us in the trade have, so? Life is not a ****ing contest in killing. Does your Vulkor say anything about that?

We "terrorists" have saved entire worlds. Your "safe" methods would have our kin rot in captivity in their millions while you pat yourself on the back for saving a few thousand. I think you are missing the big picture here, girl.

You little fool, when you pay the slaver to "free" his captives, you encourage him to go on another raid tomorrow. You end up broke, they end up rich, and a whole lot of people end up dead, missing or worse. Nice forward thinking there. That's the trouble with people like you - you never think things through to their conclusion.
Quote: You confuse respect with idolatry...of course you have no concept of the difference sine you see yourself as all that is and those unlike you...though serving the same cause...worthy of your ridicule and threats...so much like the Amarr that call us savages, barbarians, uncivilized...you are a fool.
The one you respect is an enslaver and a torturer. She is *worse* than a slaver, you airhead. She and her twisted cohorts make it their business not only to subjugate, but also to mutilate, murder, torture, all for their twisted pleasures and rituals. If you respect *that*, then you spit on every single matari warrior that died in the name of freedom.
Quote: I am however, amazed that the UK have allowed such a loudmouthed braggart chest-thumper speak publicly on thier behalf and especially make baseless, empty threats against the life another Minmatar...perhaps if you; pilot Oroa, directed this energy to the SAFE extraction of our brothers and sisters the fratricide percentage might drop considerably.
*smirks* I speak for myself. And since we had at one time threatened the life of the Republic Chief herself, don't think that just by being born of our people you deserve respect. Respect is earned. You stab one drunken fool in a bar and that should somehow impress me, who have watched tens of thousands fight and die for their cause? You keep your "safe" methods. We will keep actually liberating our people.

Enritre worlds...except for the unlucky ones that got caught in the crossfire.

Nah. I would just make an exception for you. Besides, you being so good with a knife, you must know how squirming can ruin a good skinning job.

That's funny, you sound like a holoreel version of a Minmatar.

And their opinion factors in how? If it were up to me, I'd burn their golden empire on a bonfire made of Pax Amarria. I *was* a slave once, girl, and not one of those pampered showcases they parade around either. I remember what it was like. I don't need them to like me. I don't want them to like me. You shouldn't either, and wouldn't, if you knew anything about the suffering our people went through!

It does.
Originally by: That's funny, you sound like a holoreel version of a Minmatar.
Did you come up with that on your own, or did someone help you?

Apparently you are too mindless to understand that they use methods like your to justify keeping our kin enslaved, "...for thier own good and protection". Think beyond yourself child.
"One of those pampered showcases"...If you knew anything about the suffering our people"? You know nothing...NOTHING OF MY SUFFERING! NOTHING OF THE TORMENT, THE HORRORS THAT WERE VISITED ON ME IN THE NAME OF THIER GOD! THE VIOLATIONS I SUFFERED AS HE...

May Vulkor, his sisters and brothers that watch over all Matari guard you, keep you, and grant you victory for our people.
