@ OP:
Regarding your question about 'WIDOT' and its meaning, it's far simpler and less satisfying as you might think.
The fact of the matter is that once upon a time on the CAOD forums a random troll was looking at threads and trying to come up with awesome new flames that would make his e-peen grow significantly.
Then suddenly he/she realised that certain alliance names have dots where others don't.
Ofcourse in the world of trolling any difference between any entities is enough grounds to start a flame, so our brave little troll head out in search for a post by someone from a dot alliance so he/she could flame it.
And thus a legacy is born.
