A quick correction: The Amarr do not preach of Freedom. We preach of slavery at every level. I refer here not to the most blatant example of the various persons we enslave to teach them the Word so much as I do our overall philosophy of slavery.
A slave serves the will of their master. They have no free will, no purpose other than to serve with varying levels of flexibility in how exactly they accomplish this.
A regular citizen strives to be a slave to their local Holder.
The Holder strives to be a slave to the King.
The King strives to be a slave to God.
Though of course the actions taken by Amarrians are not always so pure, it is the ideal we uphold. Freedom is not seen as a virtue, but as a deviation from His will.

Our ideal is that we all follow the word of God without deviation. Free will does allow us to do wander from this path just as it allows a slave to drive a tool into his own skull: Does this make the slave free? Of course not. That we must freely come to the conclusion to no longer use our free will to act against His Will frees us no more.

Typical...your words speak of saving but, they are tainted by your arrogance in thinking that they can ONLY be save your way, by YOUR god...with neural poisons and behavioral implants.
Actually I'm personally opposed to the implants and vitoc. But other than that, yes: Amarr is the true path.

Stagnant? The Faith has adapted to better suit the carrying of His will over the millennia it has existed. A good indicator being that recently the Empress released more slaves than all of the Matari efforts combined.
