Will you be fielding questions and answers to the uprising of your cvustomers in ref to the current content not working?
Do you think this post will be deleted because it isnt on the nature of the Gamescon meeting?
Seriously...do you think it will go well if ppl turn up for the journalist day and the questions about the broken content start being hammered at you?
I know I'll be there and I'll be wearing my press badge and I know what I'll be asking for my avid readers as it seems...there is a serious issue your side stepping.

I'm not sure, but I think the exhibitors are not allowed to sell stuff at the gamescom. They could only offer free giveaways. Or maybe start a kind of tombola / raffle.
Idea: 1on1 pvp fights -> winner gets stuff.

Hey guys,
One or two updates for your consideration.
1, HR will be in attendance at GDC Europe but not at Gamescom. I have been talking with our recruiters and they will be briefing me on what sort of information I am to take from prospective future employees so you can definitely come and see me at the booth and I can give you some information and take your info to pass on to HR.
2, EVE Store items. Unfortunately there will be no items from the EVE Store on sale.
I think that answers the most major questions. If you have anymore, please ask, or see the OP for details on how to organize the room for your alliance, corporation or friends

Decided to come too, although last year's gamescom sucked for me, made the HORRIBLE decision to go on saturday.
Worst decision I could have made...
Therefore I'll attend on thursday this year, hopefully with not so many visitors that you can't walk through ANY hallway.
Sadly this year the local area still has school holidays so expect masses of kiddies at any time :(
Also, plz CCP make something more spectacular than last year, the booth as I remember it wasn't really a big deal...

Human Resources will be available all the time during the GDC if you have a pass for that event. HR is also going to be available during the first day of Gamescom on Thursday, August 19. After that, all enquiries regarding HR can be made at the booth at Gamescom. We will be happy to take any information and pass it on to the HR recruiters so please come by and see us

Heading off to the GC tomorrow, mainly to meet up with a load of guildwars friends but i'll wonder by the eve booth a few times to smack the CCP guys fits again.
Two other PL guys are planning to meet at the eve thing at 10:30am (horror) on saturday. Gonna try and make it there for that if i'm not too hungover

Guildwars and EVE? Sounds like my plan too, cya at eithere NCSoft or CCP then I guess :)

I apologize for my late reply but bug reports need to be submitted electronically so that there is a paper trail that people can follow.
I am sorry that you do not deem it worthy to come to the booth but many players have come by already to talk to us, pick up swag, meet in the meeting room or change skills. Those same players have had time to ask us questions, talk to us about their time in EVE, their experiences on the server and what they enjoy doing.
So, I hope you also have a great time at Gamescom (if you are going) and I wish you all the best

I had a nice day at the convention yesterday. Tobad the ccp stand was a bit underwhelming to say the least. Then again all the other stands near them seemd to think they need to advertise their wow clones (rlly there are 100's of them) with uber loud music and flashy as can be stands. In all fairnes ccp really did portray the essence of eve (perhaps ccp) by not going along with that. Was hoping they'd have some form of goodies, perhaps a demo of dust or some such, or anything new at all. No such luck. I should have forked over for the GDC. Well perhaps next year.

I'm travelling europe but I come from Australia. Was hoping to meet some euro EVE players and generally just hang out with like minded peeps.
Hearing good things about last years booth I headed to the CCP booth today but all I got was a heavy dose of disappointment.
Australia never gets decent conventions, and it seems CCP didnt want to spend a dime on Germany this year either. No doubt all the cool stuff is going to Seattle. I was also hoping to pick up one of the Minnie militia T-shirts and change a skill (no client access on my journey) but no luck.
Rest of the convention was good. Queue to play Portal 2 was only 1 hour long while Diablo 3's queue was 2 hours.
If there are any german players looking to gain some contact with australia militia players, let me know via EVE-mail. Thank god for EVE-Gate. I'm staying in the Frankfurt area for the next 2 months.

hey there.
sorry but i disagree. I was there Yesterday (to see the how area of Gamescom, visit CCP and Intel Extreme Masters). Everything was ok.
Ok i live from Gamescom about 5 min. away with a bike.
I was there Today, just for CCP and Intel Extreme Masters.
And guess what. I had a lot of fun, talking to CCP Navigator and other CCP people.
Ok i didnt saw any EvE players, but it doesnt matter.
Ofcourse the CCP booth could be a little bit bigger with 4-5 PCs where eve player could logon with their accounts and play for example a mission, which other visitors of the gamescom could watch at.
or much better ccp could logon accounts which can fly all ships. I am very interested how to fly on a titan or mothership. to sit in there and blow up guristas with DD.
But even without that i am very happy.
And i must say CCP employee which are on Gamescom are so very nice and polite.
On no other booth on the gamescom i saw so much interest on the community of players as at the CCP booth. And if you think Blizzard employee are so nice and polite, you are wrong!
It was a nice day for me, because i meet so many polite people from the CCP booth.

and I was total wtf...
EVE-Booth ABANDONED !!! :(((
And I wasn't very late...it was about 2 hours from closing...
