Just wondering if there is anyone local to me. I used to be in a local corp and would meet up on occasion but it pretty much died out. Im lookin for new friends and hopefully a new corp.
Anyone near Nashville, TN? where is everyone?

Hit me up with that get together information. I have already started adding contacts of those i'm finding in Nashville and surrounding. Might be a good idea to see if we can set up a SE region chat channel or just a straight up TN chat channel in game. Also anyone looking for a corp, most of my corp is UK but they are active. We have a FW version as well. But the more we get with our time zone the better. Friendly corp with a TS server since I have joined they have started running more and more events such as WH exploration, mining ops, and some FW romps. CMS-17 and CMS-17 Faction Warfare.
I would be nice to have some local time zone peeps to run with. I am usually some week nights and sundays. Just depends on everything else going on.

How is this going to work.. I'm Minmatar some of you guys are Caldari, I hope I didn't see an Amarrian anywhere in the mix. Is this going to end as some sort of Brothers in Arms scenario where we are pitted against each other once we become friends? Will you choose your new friends or your culture?
We'll TS wise, my corp has one and there is always audio via a fleet if we fleet up. You would need to be apart of my corp to utilize the TS server though.
If someone has space I could be talked into some sort of LAN event. We would need to plan out what we would want to do..such as WH Exploration/sleeper hunting, missioning, FW, Mining, etc. Before I agree since we all know eve can be a hugh time sink where nothing is accomplished besides flying around the galaxy.

Me too... With PAX this weekend and weddings/anniversaries and other non-EVE related activities this month we are having an issue getting a nice weekend for us to host something. Ok... so turns out Zymur and I are way soooo busy that September has passed and October is looking like its going to be a ***** to plan something (though we may still try, honestly i want to give people 2-3 weeks notice). So in light of our failings i have created a channel dedicated to the people of the south!
Feel free to join us in CRON JOB Confederated Rebels of New Eden Joint Operations Bunker) Someone should be around from time to time even if I cant be :P All that said in about 1.5mths i should be free again and ready to plan something, if it goes well we might expand that to a larger event as the Veto members have been screaming at me for a few years to organize a state side Veto meet.

Birmingham, AL here as well....(currently living in IL though while me and the new wife fight for removal for her kids, but I am down 2-3 times a month to hang with friends and family)
Seeing as how Dragon Con is held in Atlanta we could all try and meet up there this year for beers and fun...Is CCP doing anything there?

Away from home in the military, but half my family is in Houston County (if I say 'Erin' the typicl response is a blank stare or cow sodomy jokes), two counties from Clarksville TN. The others are in Clarksville.
I'll be at the Veto Summercamp meet August 12-14, but for those more local who can't make it, hit me up. I'll be the area on leave from August 2 through the 26th or so.
