I would love to have these cooler temps you all mention. I am stuck in phx az. for the next couple years for work. A fellow city worker told me the city takes their temp readings in the shade to keep from scaring off too many tourist dollars.
It is routinely 110f in the shade here. I am told this is rather cool for phoenix. You know it is summer time in phx when the over night low does not get below 100f. I wondered at this because I thought deserts were famous for getting cold at night. A friend who is native to this hell-land told me since phx is almost entirely paved, they sun bakes the pavement all day, then the pavement bleeds off heat all night.
I set up a second savings account for "emergency AC repair fund". This covers house and cars

I spent 8 years in the southern states and south/central america. Humidity was often 90% and up. I was never bothered. Here I feel like I am being set on fire if I dwell too long outside during the high heat hours. I have to do my physical training at the crack of dawn, or at night.

Its just as hot over here in Delaware and I refuse to leave my house because of it. I say we petition for no more weather above 15-16 degrees >_> Yeah I am a pirate. What are you gonna do about it? Killboard link is not allowed to be used in a signature.Applebabe

I work in a kitchen, the lowest I've seen the temp is 85F, so 30-34 isn't so bad.

My machine didn't make it, had to put her down. Now I can't recall half the stuff I had on there let alone all the obscure passwords I had for various sites. Or my mail, how am I supposed to think in this heat?

I was down in Williamsburg for a football camp. It was brutal yesterday, 6:30am to 9:30pm, 101/38.3 degrees, barely a breeze, and no shade till the sun went down. I am glad I am not working the camp today because I have a feeling more then a few of the kids are going to be falling out.
Also, everyone from Arizon needs to HTFU

I haven't looked at numbers, but it's been really hot in Connecticut (US) for the past few weeks. It also doesn't help that my car's AC doesn't work... The house doesn't have AC either, but I have my computer in a room with concrete walls, so it stays at a decent temperature.
Now if it weren't as humid...
By the way, the dehumidifier heats the room up way too much... ------------------- Always remember this about EVE:
