Hi!
Here is the story.
I need a ship that I could use for houling 500-1000m3 stuff from Jita to other trading hubs(only highsec). And i want to do it AFK... Yes i know, "dont afk haul". But im gonna do it anyway ;P
I already dit it in a T1 frigate but it was stuff worth up to 10 millions, never had a problems.
Now I need a ship that I could haul stuff worth 100-200 mil max, still afk as those are usually 20+ jump trips and I cba to do it manually ;)
I just wanna minimalize a chance of being ganked.
My alt wchich I wanna use for this can fly minmatar T1 ships up to BCs. So I thought I could use a Stabber or Hurricane for that purpouse. Equip one of them with cargo rigs(500-1000m3 is all i need) and fit as much passive shield tank as i can.
What do you think? Afk hauling 100-200 mil stuff through highsec in a cruiser/BC should be relatively safe(safer that doing it in a frig)? Or it doasnt matter and chances of being ganked will be the same, no matter if i use a frigate or BC? ;)

you don';t want to passive tank it you just seriously want to buffer the hell out of it

about 45k ehp all passive mods but you run any route out of jita enough time and the gankers will figure it out and be waiting.

Get a Hic, a couple of cargo expanders and then tank it like you would to tackle a Titan. Have to be a pretty good size gang that could pop you.

Well, if you don't want to get ganked, you should not afk haul. But on the other side, no one will gank a ship for 100-200 million ISK cargo, at least it's very unlikely.
Use Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer rigs and Nanofiber Internal Structures so you will travel the fastest.

Either the lightest/fastest hauler around (tier 1 minmatar hauler?) or a cruiser with lots of lows (omen can do it fairly well).
A Probe (Minmatar Frig) can carry a decent amount as well.
I use a Skiff myself, it's a great mini hauler for when speed and agility matter and cheaper than a Blockade Runner.

Since you already know the risks you get doing afk hauling , ill not repeat what you already know. THat said a good choice imho is the Exequror ( gallente cruiser).
Exequror with cruiser skill 5 chave 900m3 cargo without any cargo expander.
Fill low slots for speed, med slot with shield extenders and you should be ok.
