If you'd analyse the killmails on www.killboard.net you'd probably end up with a decent picture of large parts of both fleets. _______________________________________________

Thanks for the numbers DBP. Just trying to get a feel of what the pair up on sides of the barney were.
So from BoB's side they had ~ 50/50 split BS/support with 30 BS. No info on types, but I'm guessing it was a mainly apoc/arma BS fleet? Where as they say FE/CA etc had ~44-50 BS with (judging from the numbers put forward) approximatley equal support. Only intel from the BoB side on the FE/CA fleet make-up was that they had 14 Scorps.
Could anyone from FE/CA side put forward semi-accurate numbers from their side?
No I said there was 44 enemy BS in Obe just before the battle that jumped in.
I said there was around 50 that left.
We also killed 14 during the battle that didn't leave.
Enemy fleet was heavy on ravens and scorps. Very little else.

Quick question: was there any word on fleet make up from either side? We've seen that BoB had ~60 and local topped 160 (?) but is there any kind of confirmation of ship type breakdown BS types/support?

Some of their support died on multiple occasions too.
Asmodia can say what he wants but when you take 50 up against 100 and kill 71 ships and only lose 24 from the time we entered P3EN till the time we left....
I'm sorry but if that's a loss then I can't wait till we win O_o
dbp
um but that math dont add up because there was 150 downed in that hour on the map and if you have 71 kill mails do teh new math , and before you say you dident have that meany in gang both sides taklers and guys who lost ships were jumping back into obe for new ships then contineing to fight

Edited by: DB Preacher on 20/12/2004 14:47:59 Actually that's an interesting question ...
150 kills on the map? Was that confirmed?
We got 71 killsmails and 24 lossmails purely from BoB members. We had 4/5 guys in frigs who weren't in BoB but came along and *I think* 1 BS who isn't in BoB but came along.
Apart from that I doubt there is very very few killmails/lossmails we haven't posted so far. Everyone is pretty good at that now coz we get moaned at by all of eve for not having 100% records.
However, I actually spoke with one of the F-E guys later and was saying that I only recieved 3 killsmails when I was pretty damn sure I had popped more than 3 support ships in the whole battle (me = raven = kill0r stuff).
I certainly would be interested to see where the other 50 kills/losses came from though.
As for our guys jumping back... if they die twice, then they post a loss twice... that isn't rocket science :p

My apologies, I misread. Nice and confusing fight, especially with more people coming in, new ships etc. *thinks about it* Okay, so there were at least 44 BS with 80 total ships jumping in, possibly ranging up to 60 BS or so during the fighting, mainly Ravens and Scorps with 50 or so jumping back out.
Mind if I ask if the extras (the 4-5 frigs and possible BS) were in the BoB gang (which was shown to be around 60), or if they were flying on their own?
Sorry for the questions, just trying to get an accurate view on what was happening from both sides.

Aye, they were in the BoB gang. Some of them weren't on TS so we were co-ordinated them through the gang. All were in-gang while we were waiting for the enemy to jump in at the start.

We traveled all of one jump to fight you guys yesterday, thanks for visiting us. How many jumps did you travel and why does it matter? You came out on top of what? Your piling of cargo cans left behind by your mates?
What is amazing is that this guy after hiiting the post reply button must have said to himself "Man I really put them in their place now! YeeeeeHaw!"
"They got a bunch of guys against us! Tee hee hee!" As he goes from gate to gate with his group of 60 plus ships.
Seriously---you Evol guys need to put a leash on some of your members posting on the forums regardless of how sly they think they are. Let the grown-ups do all the talking. They don't help whatever image you guys have or think you have.
Please stop troll baiting the forums already, it's getting old and boring especially when 3 more threads will have this same crap from you guys in the same day. Thank you. EVE-I.com~THE Info source |

Edited by: Galaxion on 20/12/2004 17:04:15 Firstly, excellent fight to all. Pity afterwards we lost bs' to BOB that we shouldnt have, but mistakes dont happen twice. The battle itself I'd think was fairly even till we piled on the reinforcements.
And I for one welcome our new allies from all corners of the EVE world. may we kill in harmony, then get back to slughtering each other once more ----------------------------------------- Everlasting Vendetta PVP Commander, yarr

The tricky part with this deal is that NSA didn't set Curse on a +10 standing. This wasn't a deal arreanged between both alliances, but a decision made solely by Curse.
Perhaps Curse wants to show their good side now Christmas is on it's way, or they are in desperate need of a new ally or tradepartner?

DVRN was out of ceasefire and was out of NSA when it fired on hostiles, namely BoB. As usual however, BoB will twist to be a neverending KOS since they lost ships.
Oh well, what else is new. It's not personal with us, it's a game. But hey 'We make dead pirates' and don't consider BoB any different from pirates.
Good fight to all.
