Hello,
I first tried my hand at EVE five years ago. I had never heard of the game in 2003, or 2004, as World of Warcraft was the latest, greatest thing, and I must admit I was sucked in to their ranks. It grew stale rather quick, and I moved on to the greener pasture that is EVE. At the time I became overwhelmed with the complexity of the game, and the immense learning curve. I quit soon after.
I attempt another return to the game in 2008 after some personal maturing, and watching the game develop. At the time I was a professional poker player, and had as much spare time as I desired. It turned out to not be much. Yet again I did not have the time, or desire to step over this immense learning curve, and decided to try something more simple.
In early 2010 I finally decided to give the game another go. At this point, finally, I managed to make the leap over the learning curve, and in to the game that is EVE online. Since that time I have a grand total of four accounts forming which is now my army of Hulks! My plan since I began was to use my Hulk characters as money makers to support all of my other endeavors in game. It seemed to me at the beginning that this was the most simple, and easy to learn form of making money with the least required start up capital.
Since my beginnings I have completed my army of Hulks, gotten a freighter, and begun training the characters for various other abilities. Refining, manufacturing, and of course - the beauty of this, and all games - PVP. Since realizing how long it will take to train a diverse, tech 2 capable, tech 3 flyer, I have begun saving my ISK to purchase a character. Needless to say, the road is nearly as long :)
With this character I would successfully start my PVP career in EVE online. I would likely join a smaller corp that enjoys small fights where the opponent outnumbers us (it is always more fun fighting while surrounded by red). I would use the money that is currently being saved for a character to purchase ships, mods, implants, and skills as they are needed for tvol. I hope that my brief history of starting EVE, and my short snippet of the hundreds of things I would use the character for (but mostly pew pew!) is acceptable.
One final reason I believe it should be me that inherits your character, is that if I ever decide I will be quitting EVE, and start to think about "sending tvol to biomass", I would take my queue from you, and put the character up for 1 ISK to the person who can tell me why, and how they will use the character. Whether I, or another player receives the character I hope you find a good home for your work, and someone who will treat the character right!
Regards
