Just been kicked from server. Thanks was mining had my drones out. You could have provided a countdown! real di*k move on your part CCP.

Blah its no biggy. I use T1 drones not am amount worth *****ing about. Minign I had no problems, but hey what can u do, hope u fix it soon. in the mean time I will listen to eve radio.

The fact that CCP have posted an explanation in less time than it took to say "eh, game crash? Must check forums" and click one sticky post is something to be grateful for.
The DT window isn't even over, you have no cause for complaint if you can't play during a scheduled and advertised downtime period. If you CHOSE to try and log back on early, you gambled - and guess what, you just lost.
Just why is it back up before the end of the DT window anyway? Why don't they bring it up early but still deny access to people. Do some tests to make sure everything is working fine then allow everyone to join?

This implies they had time to at least issue an ingame warning for a few minutes. It was not an issue affecting people already logged in.
Naa they should get the server up ASAP and make DT as short as possible, how often does it mess up, not very.only about 8,000 people had go into game when it was shut off again.

Thats a bit mean. Maybe CCP can add something that makes drones return to the drone bay when the server goes down.

Snot going to happen though. Imagine the rage withdrawal when you log back in and everything is ok.
Cos it sort of works like this......
Server DB issues
CCP shut server down...
Players disconnect instantly...
NPCs also stop fighting because.....
The server was shut down !...
and your ship wont warp back there until you log back in ....
Rose, for a good few mins after I was kicked I tried logging back in and it gave me the server not taking connections message, indicating the server was still up for a few mins after everyone was kicked so NPC may well have still been shooting ya! You would have emergency warped anyway but they may have turned on any expensive T2 drones u left. Correct me of I am wrong,
