A way to be creative independed from lotteries. There will be a monthly "subject", and the best entrie will win. Dependend on the number of entries , and the interest in investing time into drawing or modelling, i will increase the prices or at least adding a 2. plex, so there will be 2 winners monthly. The entrance fee is the time u invest into it. No isks are needed. The event will run till "incarna" will be released, or i l`m leaving. "Subjects" will be around hypothetical "incarna" stuff. Entries u will see in here, will not come to the game. The winner will be annouced, after i had discuss with some friends about the entries, and which we find is the best. The first subject will be creating a "Bike". A lot of station occupants, want to move faster, and are interest in spending there money into nice "bikes". Or group had create an earlie prototype of one. "Prototype bike hull " More details will follow. U have done a great work, so good luck with this contest. - The Hall of modern Art - Its a Museum of modern Art, which have serveral complexes in diffrent stations around the universe. A place to enjoy, and think and speak about modern Artists. The complexes itselfs, are splitted in serveral rooms, which style remembers an age long time ago. The "Atrium`s" are large open space within this complexes. Early version Every Atrium have an diffrent subject of art. The are planning expanding the complexes with serveral atrium`s, and looking for new artists within this universe. Which kind of subject are planned for this new rooms, will be announced on the 25. August. They are looking for following stuff. "Drawed sculptures, Drawings, Photos" They are supporting this event, with 2x 30 Days Plexes for the winner, and 1x 30 Day Plex each for the 2. and 3. place. And if there will be no entries within the next 10 hrs, it could be a subject for one of the upcoming events around this. For now, there will be 10 more hrs, to find and sending in an prototype of a bike. - The Directors of the "Hall of Art" has contacted me again. After a long meeting and serveral rounds of dicussion,they had found a subject, they would like to present in there expanded museums. They had found 2 pictures of an realy old artis a long time ago . Simply Linies or u could say Waves. And this is next subject: "Waves and Linies" What ever comes in minds on u, u are free to post. This event will ends on the 25 september, and will have the same prizes. Allowed is: Drawed sculptures, Photos, Drawings, Screenshots of shockwaves, its up to u. Breg mac - There was a posting about an eve musuem. Generaly i think, it`s a pretty good idea. But presents existing items, which are named like " .... smal railgun bpo" or ".... unit of water " arent that interesting (my personal thoughts). What would be, if there was a way, having your own drawed Art in game? I think finding a way, making this possible, could be interesting. If there would be headquarters coming with Incarna and a way placing drawings into it, that peoples could have a look on it. I think, its innovation bringing more individual stuff to this. Before the text ends in a tl;dr shorts thoughts how it could be come throught. New game profession: Artist -skills ( renewed system, based on real life informations via "Wikipedia and real existing artists -a questions / answer system whithe examinations (point system) sucessfull examination = next skill level ( answer-questions system and so on Before u are able to send in drawings, u had to reach a setted skill level out of this system. There should be limited entries of Drawings, that there will be not a float of stuff. Also this should make it possible to control copyrights and prevent eula violations. Items / art via this, could be able to place within your headquarters , or sold them. There could be also a way, present them via Npc- Art Halls. A "visitor system" ( based on players), could increase there prices of this kind of art, and probally making a market out of it, where Npcs will have a place in there too. Adventage out of this is: Knowledge about real existing stuff+ and being more individual. Oki now its Tl;DR. To be back on the next subject i ve some inspiration for u: Waves and Lines If u know the artist u should immidiatly post the name in here. Floor is a restaurent, which special is, serving Food out of old recipes from the whole empire. The owner had collected this old recipes, which are thousend s of years old. They are authentic and not modified. The new subject is writing the menue card, with your food. What u think would cover the Food the empires would prepare. He gaved me one of his recipe`s, i prepare often at home. U need: 50 ml Olive oil 50 ml white wine ( dry - no sweet sugar limonade) 1x glove garlic 200 ml smashed peeled tomatoes 1x chili ( or sweet hot chili sauce for chicken) 10 g chopped parsley some leaves basil 300 g boiled needles of your Choice ( i prefer Penne or Tagliatelle) (salt, Sugar depends on your taste) 100 g Jammon ( Pata Negra, Serrano, San Danielle...) 50 g Parmesan ( 12 month +) 50 g Pecorino ( 12 month +) (optional Herb marinated olives, dryed tomatoes) Preparation: Heat the oil in a pen, and cut the garlic into thin slices. Roast the garlic lighty brown, and put the chopped parsley into it. Followed by the chili, (or chili sauce),white wine, and the samshed tomatoes. Be carefull when roasteing the garlic, because if its burned, the whole taste is going bad. Slighty roasted reduce the strong taste of the garlic, and turn it into a special taste. Saison it with salt and sugar , depends on your Taste. ( keep in mind that the jammon/ Cheese has also a strong (" salty ") taste, so the combination is tricky. Keep the boiled needles into it, and bring it hot. Serve it on a plate, keep the jammon / cheese on it, and garnish it with some leaves of basil. I personal will have after the main course a piece of pure chocolate cake. Bittersweet chocalate cake. Ingrediants: 650 gr. bitter chocolate 100 gr Nougat ( u can use nutella or comparable thing to) 400 gr. butter 12 eggs 100 gr powder sugar 100 gr flour 100 ml elder flower sirup -baking tin (24 cm diameter) oiled- flour-ed Preperation: Melt 450 g bitter choclate + 200 gr. butter on low heat. Seperate egg yolk and egg white. Stir the egg yolk, with the elder flower sirup plus the sieved flour. Wip the egg white with the powder sugar till its "hard". Carefully stir the egg yolk/elder flower/flour mixture under the wipped egg white. Then stir carefully the melted chocolate/ butter mixture under it. Put it into the oiled/floured baking tin, and bake it in a pre-heated oven at 150 ¦ C for around 60 minute. Test it with a touthpike, and depends on the test, keep it longer into the oven. If its completly baked, keep it outside the oven, and let it "rest" for around an hour. Kepp it outside the baking tin. Melt the 200 gr bitter choclat, the 100 gr. Nougat and the 200 gr butter on low heat. If its melted, cover the cake with it. serve it. PS. Who love chocolate should try it. Ingrediants: ( Salmon) 4 pieces salmon loins 200 gr each ( skinned, without fishbones) Stir following ingrediants: l litre cocnut milk 1 chili ( washed-chopped- with or without seeds) 1/4 teaspon cinnemon 1/4 teaspon curry powder 1/4 teaspon marsala powder 3 lemon leaves ( cutted in thin slices) 1 piece lemon gras ( cutted in few pieces) 2 tablespon fried garlic 2 teablespoons roasted sesam oil Pre-heat the oven up to 180¦C. Put the salmon loin s into an ovenproofed dish, and cover it with the cocnut mixture. Put it inside the oven for around 15-20 minutes. (Depends on: if you like your salmon well done, or medium) Koriander leaves to garnsih. Serve a "Fragrant" rice to the salmon. Ingrediants: 50 gr chicken fat 60 gr shallots 45 gr spring ginger ( cutted in thin slices) 1 glove garlic( lightly smashed) 1 piece of lemongras 5 tablespoons chilisauce 2 tablespoons Honey 1 tablesponn rosted sesam seeds 1 tablespoon sesam ÷l 650 ml chicken stock 300 gr thai fragrant rice 1 tablespoon fried garlic salt - Sweat the lemongras/ginger/shallots, smashed garlic with the chicken fat into a stockpot. Add the rice and sweat it short and sligtly too. Add the chicken stock, sesam oil, chilisauce and honey. Reduce it to low heat. Cover it, and simmer the rice until its cooked. keep warmed. Serve it with the salmon, and garnish it with fried garlich and rosted sesam seeds. It s interesting to cook it, and i will try it the next weeks at home. I will change the garlic powder into fresh garlic then. Experiences showed me, that u smell like a garlic glove for serveral days, when season food with garlic powder/salt on a low level, and u get into sweat, when doing sport or whatever. I personal would not use the "vegata" seasoning and change into fresh herbs(Thym-Rosmarin), or using a vegetable stock. specially for this recipe: -sweat some thin slices of garlic in walnut oil followed by shallots, leek, carrots, celery , a leave of thym, a leavy of laurel and cover it with water - reduce it to low heat and simmer it for around 20 minutes -sieve and reduce it till u can sweat your lobster into it - no salt - But its pretty optional, and as i introduce all the lesson`s i had gave to some guest, who booked me , to cook a dinner with them for there wifes. It s up to every own Taste,which kind of herbs / seasoning they prefer and sucessful experience they had make in the past. Using fresh herbs , and season independed from industrial made Taste , when serving your food to guest , opens at least not new experience only. Distance is between 10k-100 k au The aurora borealis is a shorttime phenomea, so this partciles are difficult to harvest. Also its side effects are damage to all computersystems. keep this in mind , when founding a role for the ship. I hope for some entries. The sun activity, which blows out particles and make the aurora Borealis happend, could be announced within fictional "Empire news". The concord billbords on every gate would be more informativ then. When it happend, there could be some kind of bombs which stabelize the Particle within a Field ( limted in size),for a limited time. Then u could harvest them. The ship itselfs could have 2 kind of tanks. One where thooses stabelized particles are stored, and the second which stabelize it permanent, as long u have enough material stored in it. The aurora Borealis particels should be used, to reload(refresh batteries, which are used for accelerator gates/Sattelites. Every jump/ connection needs Energie. It makes sense having a ship with large sails. It would also open they way for many improvements and better version of such sails. Imagine u had to set up serveral Bookmarks to set a course, which your orca had to fly. With such a system u could setup a dangerous course, with high usage of nanoboots, and a easier course . The result could be higher ammounts of particles etc.. As i have said in the topic, "New resources". The oorth cloud itself, should bring material, which let us improve t II moduls to a level, which is close to officer stuff. No balance is needed , because it s done. At least the way to d it should be even more difficulter and adapted to the prices. if thw whole contest is done, there will be a summary, probally with the help, of a much better skilled english speaking/writing player, which bring the whole idea include the winner desgins to the features /ideas forum. ( size a bit lower then a frigate) Try to write the story/introducing with not more then 300 words. Pirate corvette concept 1 To get an idea Pirate scientiest have investigate into sleeper technolgy and where able to construct a new kind of frigate. They call it corvette, a bit faster and smaler then a frigate, but more powerfull. It has only 2 weapon slots but a 100% damage bonus. They combined it with pod technology, which make it possible to let npc s mechanics / weapon officers control this parts. Under Fights they are able to improve fitted weapons and moduls. a smal chance depended on the quality and experience of the crew member. something like this would be cool.
