A while back, Rooks and Kings bragged about taking out an industrial and pve focused corporation. They laughed at all the ships being self destructed while conveniently failing to attack either of the two main powers in worm hole space.

CCRES and Aperture Harmonics continue to operate under the radar, while quietly taking out all opposition in the depths of wormhole space. A week or so ago, they removed the Pandemic Legion presence from a C6. Not only did they remove it, but they bragged about their isk by not using a single T1 ship to do it. Every ship attacking Pandemic Legion was a faction BS, capital, or T3. If you look at both kill boards, rarely will you ever see members of either corp pvping in normal pvp ships. Instead, they pvp almost purely in T3s and faction BS. A recent engagement between the two was a 17 vs 13 fight that resulted in 6 T3s killed as well as some other t2 ships. Neither side used a single T1 BC and only 1 T1 BS was present. One CCRES member even ridiculed the pilot of the one t3 they killed for NOT faction fitting it out the wazoo.

How can they afford to fight with ships that are this expensive? The reason is simple, the isk they make in deep wormhole space makes T3 and faction BS losses seem trivial. A single site will usually provide 500kk to 1000kk isk and corps of their size can run a dozen or two in a day if they set their mind to it. Even assuming a more modest rate of 6 sites a day, they would still be paying out 30 bil per week to their members and that's not even counting the enormous earning potential of ladar sites.

So, what will the members of eve do? Will they continue to allow Aperture Harmonics and CCRES to terrorize the citizens of wormhole space? Will they let these two superpowers of wormhole space monopolize the earnings available? Or will they rise up, remove those two corporations, and claim the vast wealth of deep wormhole space for their own?
