Spur of the moment, you know - real and live, large scale Pvp just stalls out in space while you sit there waiting 5 minutes, plus, for you to either realize you've been dead for a long time or for your guns to cycle once on a target that has since warped off...or whatever freaking plausible analogy you'd like--point being: You're likely doing nothing useful in any event because the freaking game isn't responding.
Yeah best game ever, in theory, that I'll buy. But honestly, Eve is garbage in its current state. Plain and simple. I, like hundreds--albeit thousands--of other players am waiting on 'the next' game to get here, and not suck upon release. Then I'll leave and be done with CCP and their lag excuses permanently. I know that I'm not alone here in saying that Eve's best years are behind her.
The game continues to offer less and less. No, I'm not talking about the current expansion either. That's for another thread. I'm talking more about what has always been one of the greatest appeals that Eve has to offer: politics in a video game. When Eve was newer and fresher then, we as her pilots, we're also more shocked and awed at what we saw taking place in this so-called 'sandbox' of theirs. It truly was a great time to play the game. Now today, years later from when I began, the same trademark and signature back-stabbing politics are present, but is now coupled with this completely unplayable large scale Pvp garbage we are all infuriated about.
What I'm describing is the recipe for suck which CCP has whipped up and been force feeding us all. Now we still have the same old smack and banter with a new inability to do anything with that on a large, alliance-wide scale. I feel obligated to write, after all of my blistering comments, that remain because I really do like my Corporation and the Alliance that I belong too.
